Mekong Delta - After your guide meets you at your hotel, head southwest from Saigon to the Mekong Delta, the heart of the entire region.
On the way, visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda, a Buddhist site with ancient bronze statues and a colonial history. Take a break along the banks of the Tien River, the northern branch of the Mekong River.

Enjoy a boat trip on the Mekong River to a workshop where handmade crafts and sweets are made from coconuts. A short horse carriage ride will take you to a nearby orchard, where you can taste homemade honey tea, savor fresh seasonal fruits, and enjoy “Don Ca Tai Tu” - traditional live music of the Mekong people.
After lunch, take an electric car for a leisurely drive through the countryside, soaking in the rural atmosphere as you pass small villages and farms. In the mid-afternoon, get back on the boat and cruise along the canals until you reach the spot where you return to your tour vehicle.
