Day 1: Ha Giang City – Heaven Gate – Lung Tam Village - Yen Minh - Dong Van Town

Ha Giang Province - The tour begins at 8:00 am at the office in Ha Giang City. The tour guide and driver will provide a safety briefing for riding as a passenger on a motorbike and explain the detailed itinerary for the 2-day tour.

On the first day, the Ha Giang Easy Riders Team will guide you through the most impressive scenery, featuring spectacular landscapes and breathtaking views. As the team takes you into the mountains and along winding roads, you’ll ascend to Pac Sung Pass, which is over 1000 meters above sea level. Here, you’ll notice a cooler temperature and can enjoy the first panoramic view from Pac Sung Pass, capturing stunning photos and savoring coffee at the top.

Yen Minh - After enjoying the view from Pac Sum Pass, you’ll continue on the motorbike with the Ha Giang Easy Riders Team through limestone mountains and villages, experiencing beautiful scenery. You’ll arrive at Heaven Gate, where you’ll witness an amazing landscape and a vast, deep valley. After marveling at the view, the riders will take you down to the hidden village of Lung Tam, home to the Dao Minority people, where you’ll have the opportunity to visit a local family.

The journey continues past Quang Ba to the town of Tam Son, where you’ll start to see the incredible limestone mountains marking the beginning of the Karst Plateau Geopark. You’ll stop at a viewpoint for lunch, where you can admire the beautiful terraced rice paddies before dining at a local restaurant.

Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark - After lunch, the tour proceeds to Dong Van. Along the way, you’ll explore the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, a significant geoheritage site in Vietnam. You’ll see numerous terraced rice fields, thousands of limestone rocks, and magnificent views, along with hidden villages in the valley. You’ll get a glimpse of rural north Vietnamese countryside life as people work on the land. The riders will also take you to the Chinese border and the famous northernmost viewpoint in Vietnam. Before reaching Dong Van town, you’ll visit the residence of the Vuong family, known as the “Hmong King palace.” The day concludes in Dong Van town, where you’ll stay overnight at a hotel. After dinner, you can explore the nightlife of Dong Van ancient town.

Day 2: Dong Van Town – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac – Yen Minh - Ha Giang City

Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark - Breakfast is at 8:00 am, followed by checking out and bidding farewell to the host. The journey continues to explore the most beautiful landscapes, traveling through Happy Road, Ma Pi Leng Pass, and viewing the Nho Que River.

Ma Pi Leng Pass - Departing from Dong Van Town, the motorbike rider will guide you to the most stunning part of the journey, located on the Happiness Road connecting Dong Van and Meo Vac towns, Ma Pi Leng Pass. This legendary pass is renowned for its rugged cliffs and breathtaking views, often called the “king” of Vietnam’s passes. The road winds through cliffs and ascends Ma Pi Leng Pass at an altitude of 2,000 meters. To fully appreciate the pass’s beauty, you’ll ride down the breathtaking Sky Path to admire the valley and Nho Que River. From the mountain viewpoint, you’ll experience a 360° view, capturing unforgettable photos. Standing at the pass’s peak, you’ll be awed by the majestic mountains and rivers.

Ha Giang Province - After the pass, you’ll take another route back to Ha Giang, passing M Slope and Mau Due Valley, stopping at a local restaurant for lunch. The journey continues through equally beautiful landscapes as the first day. From Yen Minh, the route leads back to Ha Giang City. Throughout the tour, you’ll encounter different cultures and hill tribes, such as the H’mong tribe, known for their distinctive clothing. You’ll be impressed by the stunning views, fascinating country life, and beautiful cultures. The entire trip is a rewarding experience, leaving you with lifelong memories. The tour concludes around 5:00 pm, and you’ll wait for the sleeper bus to pick you up at 8:30 pm to return to Hanoi.
