Amazing scenic tour and wonderful driver/tour guide! - Wow! This tour was amazing and our driver/tour guide, Gummi, was fantastic! We were never rushed and Gummi was kind, polite and courteous at all times despite the 15 hour long trip. We saw so many amazing sites the highlight being the Glacier Lagoon absolutely stunning! Though it was a 15 hour tour it never seemed that long as Gummi told us some amazing facts and incredible stories along the drive but also we had periods of silence to just enjoy the incredible scenery. He even had different charger leads and could charge any phone as required. At the end of the tour Gummi dropped us right to our hotel door, once inside our hotel we realised we had left a mobile phone on the mini bus, Gummi found it and dropped it off at the hotel in the middle of the night, amazing tour but Gummi made it even better. I highly recommend this company and tour.

Fantastic tour! It was a... - Fantastic tour! It was a very long day but our guide/driver did an excellent job providing information as well as stories about the Icelandic people and their customs/traditions. We left not only having seen some incredible sights but more importantly we left with a deeper understanding of the people of Iceland. Kudos to your guide!

It’s a long day, but so... - It’s a long day, but so worth it. Gummi is a great tour guide who wants to make sure that his passengers have a very good time. He is a wealth of knowledge. The small bus was very comfortable and the day was planned with plenty of rest stops. Gummi even found the Northern Lights for us. Thank you for a great day Gummi.

It was a long day -... - It was a long day - getting picked up just before 8am and arriving back just before 11pm. Ian, our driver/guide provided wonderful insights and gave us a few additional stops to make up for the lack of icebergs at Glacier Lagoon (apparently a rare occurrence). We were driven to another viewing point of the glacier which provided spectacular views. In case of interest: the minibus was modern and not super cramped. Had charging USB points but no WiFi available (was a chance to focus on the scenery outside). We had multiple chances to have rest-stops and had enough time for dinner in Vik.

Excellent scenery - having visited this area twice before by self drive wanted to enjoy the scenery without driving. It’s a very long day but the schedule to offer breaks, enough time at the various stops makes it worthwhile. Jokulsarlon barely had any ice nor did the beach. We had seen the lagoon full of icebergs on our past trip. All due to the storm a few days back. Our guide did stop by at Fjallsarlon which was really nice. The scenery from Vik thru skaftafell national park and onwards to glacial lagoon was the highlight. If one is short on time this trip is worthwhile

PERFECT - I heard a lot of hype about Glacier Lagoon but was wary of taking such a long day trip. When I read so many other reviews saying the "16 hours" flew by, I thought there's absolutely no way that can be true no matter how good the tour is. But let me tell you that this was absolutely the case! This was the first tour I took in Iceland, and it was by far the best. I cannot imagine a better way to experience these sights when based in Reykjavik and there's honestly not one thing that could have made the tour better. The van was comfortable and had usb chargers. Although the bathroom stops were a *little* spread out for me, I ended up feeling that way my entire time in Iceland, it's just a really big country 😅 And the length of the tour meant that we actually had adequate time to see and walk around each stop (this was a huge difference and highlight compared to any other tours I took). On the day of the tour, there was also the option to add a boat ride at glacier lagoon which was definitely worth it! All in all I cannot recommend this tour enough!!

Excellent and passion Tourguide ever!!! - The journey is quite long, the tour starts from 7:30 am - 9:30 pm, which was raining most of a whole day. Booked a small tour with only 6 people so it was very comfortable to sit, or get on and off a mini van faster, and there was no time pressure. Mr. Gummi drove carefully and worked hard in this bad weather, but kept his great passion talking about the history and cultures of all the places he passed by as well as all attractions, and did not miss or cancel any attractions that were on the tour descriptions. Because even if I missed it, I wouldn't remember, and even if I knew, I would understand. I just felt bad that the microphone sound is not very good, or because of the noise of the rain and the wind that was distracted, so I could barely hear him well! Because of such bad weather, there was impossible to see the aurora, so it was right to cancel! Thank you very much to Mr. Gummi for a wonderful memory and safe trip!!!

Most tiring tour! But loved seeing the South Coast! - Had a fine time on this tour! Was incredibly long (started at 7am and was back at 10pm) but was worth it to see more of Iceland from Reykjavik. Definitely the most awkward tour to be a solo traveler on though. I kept forgetting what the bus looked like since it was just white with no other logo on it, so it was a bit stressful to remember where it was parked. And tour guide was somewhat transparent about the schedule but most of it was a surprise. Super happy we made it back to Vik in time for dinner though, got to try the famed Black crust pizza!

Great spots… Sassy tour guide - All the spots that Gummi took us were breathtaking and beautiful 10/10, 5 stars. The tour felt organized and overall timely. Although personally the tour guide Gummi did not offer the best experience. He was very sassy and not friendly. As a solo female traveler I did not feel welcomed at all which was disappointing because compared to the other tours I took in iceland it was uneasy in spirit. I was in total 4 minutes late due to , hotel booking problems, 7:34 which I apologized for and he just had the biggest attitude. No hello’s nor goodbye’s. throughout the trip interacting with him was dreadful. and he was also very aggressive with driving which is mentioned in other comments as well. Overall I respect what tour guides do and understand it is hard work and probably stressful but there’s no need for this type of attitude. If I am paying this much money for a service I expect a level of respect. As a service worker that works with people one to one I believe that there needs to be an effort made to make people feel comfortable and safe. if you are looking to hit good spots all in one day but don’t care about friendly attitude or positive spirit I would recommend. if not no.
