Stunning tours, fantastic service, wonderful guide. We keep coming back! - I cannot recommend these guys enough. This is our fourth tour with Alberto, and every time we have guests in town, we always book a tour with him, and every single time it is everyone’s favorite day of the trip.
Alberto and Mr. Camilo know even before we do what we’ll need to be comfortable, and enjoy our trip. They offer blankets just as it gets cooler out by the ocean. If you book the food and wine option, there’s always a new course or drink just at the right time. Alberto owns the company and does all the tours himself. He’s such a wonderful person to spend time with, and having grown up in Porto, knows so much about the area, the history, the architecture of the area, and is a genuine and incredibly kind person.
He has two boats, one a little bigger than the other. Both are very comfortable, and always in great condition.
Additionally, as an LGBT+ family, we have always felt nothing but respected and cared for with Alberto and his team. We don’t even think about it with them.
We always look forward to the blissfully relaxing and gorgeous days on the water with OPO Boat Tours. You won’t regret it!

Beautiful Porto from the Water - Review:
Fantastic private boat experience along the Douro River. The views of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia were spectacular, especially passing under the iconic bridges and seeing the Dom Luís I Bridge from the water. The cru, boat was comfortable, relaxing, and perfect for enjoying the scenery. It’s a wonderful way to experience the city from a completely different perspective. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Porto, especially for a romantic outing or special occasion. Truly memorable. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amazing afternoon sailing the Douro - We hired the yacht as a group of 5, to celebrate 3 fiftieth birthdays. We took the 2 hour option and added the cheese and meat charcuterie board. We also had a selection of lovely drinks.
The trip was fantastic, slowly sailing the river from the Atlantic, under the 6 bridges and back to the marina. We were given amazing commentary explaining everything we saw and were allowed to sit on the top deck and relax.
All in all, a truly amazing trip well worth every penny.
In addition, the weather forecast was terrible and I was able to change the date of our booking directly. Brilliant service. Thank you.

What a night. Best crew -... - What a night. Best crew - hospitable, knowledgeable and friendly. Beautiful boat, luxurious way to see the city and bridges. “Refreshments” are an understatement. They fed us perfectly curated drinks and bites the entire trip. Highlight of our stay in Porto.

Portugal with friends - Our travel planner had done a lot of research regarding private tours and highly recommended OPO Tours. Was he ever right! Even before getting on the yacht, Alberto, the captain reached out to me to make sure we had a personalized experience. The trip along the Douro River was so relaxing. We saw and learned about the bridges, the wineries, the buildings etc. A variety of drinks were offered. I would highly recommend the white port tonic. We opted to pay extra for a charcuterie board which was plentiful and accompanied by fresh fruit. Well worth it while enjoying the relaxing ride and drinks. I was surprised with a birthday cake which was so thoughtful and made for a great ending to a wonderful trip. Thank you Alberto and Mr Camilo for your attentiveness and an unforgettable trip down the Douro!

Amazing experience - From start to finish this was fantastic; we were incredibly fortunate to have the perfect sunset which made it even more memorable . The team went out of their way to look after us ; welcome drink with crisps , commentary on all the river sites and bridges : paid extra for the cheese/meats and fruit which were beautifully served . Blankets if you needed .. a great way to celebrate a special birthday with friends .Finished off with port and chocolate. Highly recommended.

Amazing tour - Alberto is the best. Very knowledgeable about the city. Beautiful sunset. Great wine. The boat is very nice. Can fit 8 people comfortably. Would recommend to all groups. Must do in Porto.

Can’t wait to book again when we are back in Portugal! - Opo Boat Tour was the highlight of our trip! It was a unique private experience and we are so glad we did this experience rather than a big group tour. Alberto was amazing! He is very communicative, attentiveness, informative and really made the whole experience 10/10! We were a party of 6 with 2 kids, and he was great with the kids! Tour never felt rushed and learned a lot about the history of Porto! The food and wine pairing is a must! We are still talking about how this was the highlight of our trip and something we’ll look back on! We look forward to booking again next time we’re back in Portugal!

River cruise - My boyfriend and I had a great time. Very chill romantic sunset cruise. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate with our much wanted sunset but the crew did everything possible to make sure we still had the best time. I would highly recommend this river cruise and the charcuterie. The drinks they served were great and the port wine to end it off was delightful. The crew was so amazing and nice it made our time much better and also gave us some great history about Porto. Would definitely do again when back in Porto!
