Port and Fado was spectacular! - Very well organised. The group was a bit larger than expected but the hosts managed it really smoothly. The information was really interesting and the interior was very atmospheric. And the port was DELICIOUS.

Fado show the highlight - We visited for a tour and found it interesting. We learned about their cellars and the production of port wine. We went to a beautiful room where were were given a glass of white port and a red port from their cellars. We were treated to a traditional Fado show. This was the highlight and the songs were delivered with passion and emotion. An enjoyable visit!

It was good, but I'll look for something less touristy next time. - Nice winery, very prepared for tourism and with port wine tasting, but with lack of experience in what is a tasting or tasting of its wines.

Nice music and tasting - A quick tour of the cellar followed by two glasses of Port for tasting… the Portuguese music was very pleasant. Overall it was good value.

Interesting and somewhat romantic experience - The overall experience was neat, and during the fado, quite romantic. The tour of the facilities was interesting with a lot of information, but the guide had an accent that made it a bit hard to follow / understand for some of the guests. I think I understood most of it. We had thought the port wine tasting would be more elaborate perhaps, in that we would get several small samples of various wines, and then told what to look for in their taste. Instead, there were two glasses of port, one white (ruby, I think), and one tawny 10 y.o. Don't get me wrong, we thought it was great, it was just our expectations that were a bit different. The wine tasting basically took place simultaneously with the fado concert. I do recommend the tour, as it seems you get "two for the price of one"; both a tour of a wine cellar, and a fado concert. I would recommend it.

Interested in parts, but felt rushed - First soirée into learning about port. We chose the Fado show aswell, which in hindsight we could have given a miss, as felt there was too much music and not enough information about the port. The young man who conducted our tour spoke extremely fast as if he was in a race to get us through the caves and we whizzed through. We left with more questions than answers. The casks and barrels are amazing and there’s information in the museum, but we only had 15 mins to, again, whizz round the museum before being herded around the caves. Not sure what the other caves offer, but I wouldn’t return to this one, As for the Fado show, nice to see a part of the Portuguese heritage, but if you want more port talk, book one separately elsewhere

Not a great tour - Not greatly set up or process explained in an understandable way. Did not enjoy the tawny at all. Fado show was ok
