Wonderful highlights of Porto! - Nuno Moura was our private driver and guide for a 12 hour journey from Lisbon to Porto and back. It was an amazing day, as Nuno was not just super knowledgable but so personable. He took care of every detail. Explaining all the details in the context of a story. He has such a passion for his country and sharing it is what he loves, it is so evident. My bride and I have taken many Viator trips around the world but this one rates among the best of our experiences If you are in Lisbon and have the opportunity to take this 12 hour private tour I would certainly recommend it, especially with Nuno as your driver and guide!

Request Nuno! - Nuno is a superb tour guide! He catered to our multigenerational family needs with care. Nuno is extremely knowledgeable with historical expertise and ensured that we each experienced all the Porto highlights of our dreams. Best tour & tour guide for an excursion to Porto, ever! - My mom and I booked a private day trip tour from Lisbon to Porto. Everything was perfect from start to finish! Our tour guide, Susana was the BEST you will ever have. Not only did we learn a lot, we saw a lot, had a great time and enjoyed the day together. The itinerary was absolutely perfect and highly recommend for anyone looking to visit Porto- you must!!

Perfect Porto with Nuno! - My wife and I were extremely fortunate to spend the whole day yesterday in Porto experiencing the very best guided tour we have ever had with Nuno. Everything worked to perfection through the day with his effective timing and wide choice of itinerary. His knowledge and passion for his country shone through. We learned so much about each highlight he described; enjoyed the coffee break, the interesting variety of stops and especially the lovely outdoor restaurant for lunch. We were delighted with his sense of humour, the care he showed toward two older travellers and his competent driving skills. He was inciteful in setting the perfect pace to our interests and abilities and at all times we felt he focussed on us. A Must-Do Tour in Porto ~ 100 Stars if We Could! - Susanna was absolutely wonderful! She kindly accommodated us coming from Cascais by train and picked us up in Algés to start our day. We began with a quick stop for coffee, pastries, and a restroom break before heading north, where Susanna shared fascinating insights into Portuguese history—she truly knows her stuff, and it made the drive fly by. Once in Porto, she dropped us in town while she parked and later met back up for a walking tour. She even graciously loaned us euros when a shop didn’t take cards so we could pick up souvenirs. We visited two beautiful churches, strolled through the famous train station, and explored the city—all with Susanna sharing the rich history of each place. It was such a bonus to skip the lines with her local expertise! Lunch was relaxed and perfectly timed across from the boat tour, and afterwards we enjoyed a gorgeous ride along the river. Susanna then escorted us to a winery, where we did the tasting and tour while she retrieved the van, making the whole day seamless and stress-free. The day truly flew by—it was the perfect balance of history, sightseeing, and fun. If we could give Susanna 100 stars, we would! This tour is not only recommended but essential if you want to make the most of your time in Porto. Cannot recommend enough!

Absolutely perfect! - We could not have asked for a more perfect day with Nuno (Van GO tourism). The three-hour trip from Lisbon to Porto was a pleasure. Nuno answered all of our questions, no matter how trivial. Porto was absolutely beautiful. Our walk around Porto was informative, and we enjoyed every minute. Nuno's choice of the riverfront restaurant and the Douro cruise itself were amazing! We had a wonderful wine tasting experience at the winery. Nuno went above and beyond to ensure that our day was one we will never forget. We cannot recommend Van GO tourism highly enough. Thank you for everything, Nuno and Van GO tourism!

Outstanding Experience & Sevice - It is a three hour car ride each way, but it is worth it! Our guide, John (Jao), is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and informative. He did a super job helping us understand everything from lots of details about Porto to broader aspects of Portugal. We highly recommend this tour, especially with John.
