A superb tour, organized by superb people :) - Booked a trip to Etna and Alacantra as part of my wifes an my 25th wedding anniversary, and was very impressed and happy with the service and tour from start to finish. A special shout out to our point of contact, Trina, who came to see us in person in Taormina the day before the excursion to take payment as we were having issues paying via the web link we were sent (our issue for relying on public wifi, not the site). From the start of our break to the end, Trina was very helpful, cheerful and knowledgeable and always contactable so credit where its due (grazie mille, Trina). As for the trip, the bus driver and guide (Mario and Francesco) were really nice, friendly and helpful. Etna was just awesome but unfortunately due to high winds, the cable car was out of action but that just meant we had to take 2 buses to get to 2900m above sea level. It was a tough walk, but the experience and the views of the surrounding area more than compensated for that. The gorge at Alacantra is equally stunning. Easy to see why its so popular with the locals too. Staff there were also very friendly and helpful. Overall, I cant recommend this tour highly enough, its an all day trip but there are plently of places at Mt Etna and the gorge to get refreshment and souvenirs.
