In the compact area of the village, renowned for its dedication to viticulture and agriculture, one of the world’s smallest Appellations of Controlled Origin has been established: the Villamagna Doc.

The philosophy is rooted in tradition, which has passed down the practice of cultivating roses in vineyards since ancient times. The rose, a highly sensitive plant, is placed at the start of the rows to monitor the vine’s health, aiding the winemaker in observing and safeguarding the vineyard by identifying any issues and enabling swift action.

The uniqueness of the production is reflected in the meticulous craftsmanship at every stage. Each bottle is individually numbered and handcrafted until a dried rose is added.

Visitors will explore the vineyards and olive groves before returning to the winery for a tasting of three labels, complemented by a sampling of the oil with homemade bread.
