• Paneriai (Ponar) - The journey begins at Paneriai Memorial Park, a solemn site where thousands of Jews from Vilnius were tragically killed.
• Trakai Island Castle Museum - Explore the 14th-century medieval castle situated on a lake. Visitors can enjoy a boat trip or dine at a traditional Karaim restaurant. From October to May, the Trakai Castle is closed on Mondays, allowing only for an exterior visit. In December and January, it is closed on both Mondays and Tuesdays, with only outside visits permitted.
• Rumsiskes Open-Air Museum - Following Trakai, the tour proceeds to the Rumsiskes Open-Air Museum, one of Europe’s largest ethnographic open-air museums, covering 195 hectares. The museum’s exhibitions showcase the ethnographic regions of Lithuania, including Dzūkija (Dainava), Aukštaitija (Highlands), Suvalkija (Sudovia), Žemaitija (Samogitia), and Lithuania Minor, as they appeared from the late 18th century to the first half of the 20th century. From October to May, only the exterior of the houses can be visited, as indoor exhibitions remain closed.
