Fantastic wine tour - Majah was our driver, she was very knowledgeable about Slovakian history. We were taken to an amazing vineyard, we were hosted by an amazing owner who was very passionate in everything he does. We later visited another vineyard that was great. I would highly recommend this tour

Vipava Valley Wine Tasting - An excellent half day trip to the Vipava Valley - the local hosts were very welcoming with 4 wines to taste at each of the vineyards plus a selection of meats and cheeses. On our day the traffic was very bad and we were an hour late to the first vineyard. However we were still given the same amount of time at each venue and arrived back to Ljubljana later than planned but was no issue our driver ensured that we were happy with that so we would not miss out on the experience.

This is such a good tour,... - This is such a good tour, we really enjoyed it. Our guide Rocco was fun, friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great time with our small group. The vineyards were fantastic, beautiful wine and food, highly recommend!!!

Amazing tour, well-curated experience - This was hands down one of the best tours and experiences I’ve had in Slovenia (and I’ve done a lot here). Very well curated experience of two quite different wineries - each unique and special in their own way. The food and wine exceeded my expectations and I would do this again in a heart beat. Excellent tour to learn about Slovenian wines! - Excellent tour with Rocco! He was a great tour guide, driver, and host with endless energy and enthusiasm about sharing stories about his life, Slovenia, and his knowledge about the country's wine and wine regions. We visited two wineries, one smaller and one larger production, which was a cool balance. Wines and snacks at both were great at both and the expert winemakers gave great overviews about the long history of winemaking in the region and how the industry is evolving and growing. I was alone with two other couples and we all had a great time! It also doesn't hurt that the drive out and landscape is absolutely gorgeous!

Slovenian wines are so underrated! Go to Povh! - WE LOVED THIS TOUR! We had booked an e-bike vineyard experience through Viator that cancelled on us last minute (after booking 5 months in advance) and found this 2 days before we were supposed to tour. And we couldn't have wound up more pleased with the change! We stopped at two wineries. The first winery, Povh Winery, was our favorite. The views from the tasting patio are UNREAL and insanely gorgeous. The owner was so nice and wonderful and we loved his wines! For the last wine, he took us through the village to his cellar to drink the red wine there. The second winery, Burja, was a more modern facility. The owner was also very nice. Not as scenic, but good wine and enjoyed the convo with the owner. We would recommend this tour to anyone!

Extremely nice wine tasting trip! - If tasting local wines and sharing this expirience with friends is your thing than this is something for you. A wine trip in Vipava, Slovenia, is a perfect getaway for wine enthusiasts and friends seeking a memorable experience. Nestled in a picturesque valley, Vipava is renowned for its lush vineyards and centuries-old winemaking traditions. Our journey began with a scenic drive through the rolling hills. Never a dull moment with our driver/guide who knew a lot about Slovenian history, heritage and customes (presented in a funny way). From crisp whites to robust reds, the wines of Vipava tantalized our palates, each variety telling its own unique story. We strolled through slovenian wine making learning about the different grape varieties and the sustainable practices employed by the winemakers. Sharing this experience with friends added an extra layer of joy to the trip. Together, we laughed, learned, and savored the flavors of this enchanting region. Our wine trip to Vipava was not just a tasting tour; it was a celebration of friendship, fine wine, and the beautiful tradition of Slovenian winemaking.

Perfect sunday trip🥂 - The wine tour was perfect Sunday trip. We saw two wineries, tried some wine samples with local prosciutto and cheeses. We also visited the wine cellar and were introduced to the wine production process. Our guide Rok was full of knowledge. On the way to one of Slovenia's wine-growing regions, he told us about Slovenian culture and tradition. He was very friendly and a pleasure to listen to. Highly recommend if you are a wine lover and would like to know more about Slovenia.

Must do! - This was one of the highlights of our entire trip! Our guide was amazing and himself was experienced sommelier who had a lot of entertaining and relevant information to share with us about the region and the wines. Pickup was right on time, the van was clean and the combination of an old world and new world winery on the same trip was incredible. I'll never forget standing in the 100s of years old wine cellar, talking with the ACTUAL HEAD WINEMAKER, and sampling wines from the barrel!!

Trip was cancelled twice - Unfortunately our trip was cancelled, twice the first time we received a phone call 36 hours prior to the planned trip, It was politely explained to us that we were the only ones booked on the trip (mid- august) so they wouldn't be able to run the tour. The refund was issued in full immediately. We rebooked on-line for 2 days later. The second trip was cancelled by text 2 hours beforehand with the explanation that the driver was sick. OK fair enough but sadly the second refund took a week, after 2 follow up messages one phone call whilst still in Slovenia & one when I got back home.
