• Moraca River - Next, we will proceed to the Morača River, a significant area for birdlife and biodiversity.
• Kamenik - Following that, we will visit the three wild islands, an ideal location for birdwatching. We will then return to Virpazar.

Begin your day in the picturesque lakeside village of Virpazar, the entrance to Lake Skadar’s world-famous bird sanctuary. As dawn breaks and the lake comes to life, board a traditional wooden boat, just as the locals have done for generations, to discover one of Europe’s most diverse bird habitats.

This is the prime time for bird-watching: the water is serene, the air is crisp, and hundreds of bird species are at their most active. Whether an experienced ornithologist or simply a nature enthusiast, you will be enchanted by sights such as graceful herons, flocks of cormorants soaring over the water, and even the magnificent Dalmatian pelican - though spotting one may require a bit of luck.
