• Virpazar - Depart from Virpazar’s pier aboard a traditional wooden boat, gliding along a narrow river canal lined with rustling reeds and willows. Surrounded by nature, this promises to be a captivating journey through this idyllic paradise.

As you exit the river canal, you’ll be greeted by the stunning sight of the distant Accursed Mountains - The Albanian Alps. The nearby island Vranjina boldly rises from the shimmering waters of one of Southern Europe’s largest lakes.

• Lesendro - Turn left and gently sail through fields of water chestnuts covering the lake’s surface. As you pass under the Tanki Rt bridge, the magnificent 18th-century fortress Lesendro comes into view.

Built by Prince-Bishop Petar II Petrović-Njegoš in the 18th century, this fortress holds significant historical and cultural importance for Montenegrins. Lesendro represents the country’s rich heritage and is a haven for birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts. The area around the fortress is alive with activity, and you’ll be captivated by the variety of bird species you can observe nearby. The Morača River, which flows into Lake Skadar, is the lifeline of this ecosystem. The river is an Important Bird and Biodiversity Area, making Lesendro an ideal spot to explore and appreciate the local flora and fauna.

• Kamenik - Prepare to be enchanted by the breathtaking view that awaits behind the three islets. Get ready to experience an Amazonian vibe right in the heart of Montenegro!

A stunning panorama of countless white and yellow water lilies surrounded by their lush, dark green leaves awaits your discovery. Keep an eye out, as you might even spot some nests filled with the most adorable baby birds - a sight you’ll cherish forever.

• Manastir Kom - Your next destination is Kom Monastery. Situated on Odrin Hill, this hidden gem is accessible only by boat. The monastery is home to some of the best-preserved frescoes in the region. Enjoy the sweet scent of wild thyme during your 30-minute visit.
