Teuta is OPEN June 2025 - Teuta is not closed--and they really make great History tours come alive. They have 4 wheels drive vehicles and great guides. Highly recommend.

Very informative tour - Karim led a great tour that helped explain a lot about Vis' history over the past two hundred years. It was fun, informative, and beautiful!

Learned a lot - The guide was very knowledgeable and provided guidance for all matters of the island not just the military history.

Really good, fun and interesting tour! - We took the military tour with Teuta and got really professional, fun and interesting 3 hours where we learnt about Vis, Croatia and its history both locally and in an international context. Christian is a real pro with a big knowledge who creates a nice and good mood in the group. He is very responsive and relaxed. We fully recommend. We also hired e-bikes, which was very smooth and easy.

Truly extraordinary - Ante was exceptional. He explained the entire history of the island to us. Showed us everything, the Greek cemetery, George fortress, hidden bunkers of the Yugoslav army, the airport, and more. We drove around the entire island in a Land Rover for about 3 hours. I recommend this trip to anyone who visits the island, as you experience a complete experience from a true local. In the end, he also showed us his lemon orchard that he tends and creates.

Fabulous tour of Vis and military landmarks - Anda provided a fabulous tour of the island and the military sites that are still on the island. He did a great job answering all of our questions. As an all english speaking group, we appreciated his great ability to communicate in our language. We highly recommend ths tour.

Amazing tour, great guide! - Kiki showed us the best highlights of Vis’ military history by jeep. Not only did he enthusiastically tell us all about the military history of the island, but he also guided us through the plains and the highest point of the island which was all amazing. He was very knowledgeable and a very fun guide to chat with. Would definitely recommend, a must see if you’re on the island. 10/10!

Best Tour - Great tour! Christian took us all over the island and gave us the full history from ancient times to present. His breakdown of the complexity of the area was amazing and very insightful given his age. He made a drizzly day very enjoyable.

Interesting Experience - We had a very enjoyable 3hr tour with Christian. He was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and very keen to ensure the tour worked for us. Definitely worth taking the tour to understand more of the history of Vis.

Do it! - Did this tour with 7 fit friends in our early 40s. We sailed to Vis and has a rainy day for exploration so figured why not. It was fantastic! Our guide went above and beyond. It was so much fun exploring. Definitely wear good foot wear (my boat shows lacked the grip needed in a few spots) but he will adapt what he can for mobility issues. However keep in mind that military bunkers do have stairs and irregular flooring. Most of the sites are abandoned so off google maps and not wheelchair accessible. Highly recommend!
