- Village of Viscri - The first stop of the day is Viscri, a renowned Saxon village in Transylvania, featuring a fortified church that is part of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites. The Viscri Fortified Church is a Lutheran church built in the Romanesque style and was fortified in 1500. Its halls were extended and connected to the keep, with an additional level fortified with battlements.
- Historic Center of Sighisoara - Next, the journey continues to Sighisoara, whose historic center is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Sighisoara boasts one of the few inhabited medieval citadels in Europe. Its exceptional architecture and breathtaking landscape have earned it the title “The Pearl of Transylvania” since the late 19th century. In Sighisoara, visitors will explore the Clock Tower, a prominent example of military architecture in Transylvania and a symbol of medieval and pre-modern public authority.
- Biertan Fortified Church - Following that, the tour visits a village first documented in 1224. Biertan was highlighted in a BBC report as “one of Transylvania’s seven Saxon UNESCO World Heritage Villages, frozen in time.” Today, it is globally recognized for its Fortified Church, restored with funds from former residents now living worldwide.
- Rupea Citadel - Before returning to Brasov, there will be a stop at Rumidava, a former Dacian settlement. During Roman times, it was renamed Rupes, where the Rupea Citadel stands on Cohalmului Hill, quietly overseeing the city. The Citadel was built and expanded in the 14th and 17th centuries, serving as a refuge for nearby villages.
- The Council Square - The tour concludes in Brasov, with a city center tour and an exploration of the history of the Black Church.
