Authentic Fishing Experience with a Great Crew and Delicious BBQ - We booked a private family fishing tour to avoid the crowds of the large catamaran trips. October is a more relaxed period, though still quite busy. It was a very nice day at sea. No big catch this time (fishing is unpredictable) but we had a great time with Nikos, Elias, and Mohamed, who were friendly and attentive. It was fascinating to see the net removal process and the few fish that were caught. The BBQ was fantastic, with generous portions and delicious fresh food. I also really enjoyed my swimming and snorkeling time while the crew was preparing the meal. Overall, a great and authentic experience, even if prices are typical Santorini prices.

A Perfect Day on the Water: More Than a Tour, It's an Adventure! - Our second time doing this tour! This fishing and culinary tour from Vlychada harbor was, without a doubt, the absolute highlight of our Santorini trip. The experience is perfectly balanced, offering so much more than just a boat ride. The crew was fantastic—they were not only experts but also genuinely passionate about sharing their knowledge, from teaching us how to fish with rods and traditional handlines to giving us a mini-seminar on the local marine life.
The stunning volcanic landscapes we saw along the way were breathtaking, with unique sights like the Red Beach and the beautiful lighthouse for swimming. We loved getting to participate in pulling up the fishing nets, and the crew's enthusiasm was infectious.
We loved swimming and snorkeling. The fish we caught were so cool! There is nothing in the world that compares to a meal of freshly caught fish and seafood, prepared right on the boat, served alongside local salads, grilled vegetables, and wine. The tour culminates in the most magnificent way, with the boat perfectly positioned to watch the legendary Santorini sunset. This tour is an immersive and unforgettable adventure that we would recommend to anyone!

Engaging, interesting and rewarding - As a family of three, we all had an amazing, authentic Greek Fishing Experience, made extra special by Nick and his competent and friendly crew!
Our nine year old always wanted to try fishing, he certainly tried his hand this time with brillaint instructions from Elias and Mohammed, and we were rewarded by a rare catch of a barracuda!
Swimming in the crystal blue water, enjoying freshly cooked proper catch of the day, alongside the unforgettable sunset, what’s not to like about this trip!

A Unique and Memorable Fishing Experience - Our day with Giorgaros Fishing Tour was an experience like no other! My husband loves to fish, so we try to include fishing on our trips whenever we can, but this was truly special. We tried several different techniques throughout the day, and while the fish weren’t biting much, we had an amazing time nonetheless.
Larry, who picked us up from the hotel and served as our main guide and translator, kept us laughing the entire time with his hilarious stories. His energy and humor added so much to the experience.
The highlight, though, was the incredible meal prepared by the captain and crew. It was far more food than we could ever eat (a common theme during our time in Greece), but every bite was delicious. We enjoyed a variety of fish prepared in different ways, paired with vegetables fresh from the captain’s garden. It was a feast we’ll never forget!
If you’re looking for a fishing experience that combines fun, great food, and warm hospitality, Giorgaros Fishing Tour is a must. Whether you’re an avid angler or just along for the ride, you’re sure to have a fantastic time.

Our family loved this trip! - Outstanding fishing trip! We really enjoyed our time with the crew of this family fishing company! We caught a large variety of fish and they were so informative about each species! They took care to only take what we needed for our amazing meal that night and threw back any catch that was too small. The cruise offered rod fishing, hand-line fishing, and net fishing. We also enjoyed time to swim and snorkel. The sunset was amazing! We enjoyed this fishing tour more than the catamaran tour the day before. I highly recommend this generational family fishing company!

Best of the Best!! What a lovely crew! From Capt Nick, Mohammed and Larry the shipmates… it was a perfect afternoon - It was a perfect way to top off our Greek vacay! Hats off to the awesome crew, Capt Nick at the helm with Mohammed and of course, Larry (driver, cook, magician, tour guide extraordinaire) Run don’t wait to book this trip … It Is Worth It!

Great! Delicious! - Very nice team and super delicious food. Lots of information about fishing. Unfortunately no really big fish for our 15 year old boys, but great swimming and snorkeling.

10/10 experience - One of the coolest experiences we’ve had and everything was perfect. Elias picked us up right on time and was an incredible guide. He spoke very good English and knew everything there was to know about the island. Mohammed was insanely helpful with fishing and we really enjoyed watching the nets come up. Nick was a great driver and the food they cooked to pair with the fish was absolutely perfect. It’s a fishing boat, rustic and fun. Highly recommend and would absolutely do it again next time were back. For reference it was just my wife and I on the boat and even my wife loved it.

Amazing private ocean experience! - This was one of our favorite things we have ever done! The captain and crew were so fun and welcoming, as well as knowledgeable about the island and the species. This is a great opportunity to have a private boat to see the island, go swimming, and also learn different types of fishing. Highly recommend! A great deal for your money as well.
