• GCF2+FW Zvërnec - After we meet at the meeting point, we are accommodated in vehicles to go to the starting point of the kayaking in Narte Lagoon, the drive from Vlora takes 30 minutes. After preparing the equipment, we set off for a kayaking adventure in Narte Lagoon, during the cruise we will have the opportunity to enjoy birdwatching. Nartes Lagoon It represents one of the largest and most important lagoons in Albania. It is located at the southern end of the coastal lowland, near the city of Vlora. It has a total area of 41.8 km2, about 1/3 of which, and mainly its area north, is used for the Skrofotina salt pan. This lagoon lies in the SE area of the Gulf of Vlora and is separated from the Adriatic Sea by a narrow littoral strip, which consists of alluvial dunes with a total length of about 8 km and a width of 100 to 1400 m. formed by the continuous accumulation of the solid flows of the Vjosa River. The symbol of the Lagoon is the Flamingo (Phoenicopterus roseus).
