Best way to see the vineyards! - We had the absolute pleasure of taking an e-bike tour along the legendary Route des Vins during our trip through Alsace, and we’re still glowing from the experience. From start to finish, it was immersive, scenic, and incredibly well-organized. If you’re looking to slow down and savor this part of France properly—this is the way to do it. The e-bikes were top quality and super comfortable, making even the uphill stretches feel like a breeze. What really made the experience stand out was how well thought out the route was. We rode through postcard-perfect villages, vineyards rolling across the hills, and breathtaking overlooks that photos simply don’t do justice. Every turn seemed to unveil a new hidden gem—whether it was a quiet chapel tucked into the hillside or a colorful row of half-timbered houses straight out of a storybook. We stopped in several charming towns, with time to explore, snack, and take in the local ambiance. The vineyards and wine tastings were also a highlight—each stop offering a glimpse into the winemaking traditions of the region, often with the winemakers themselves sharing their stories. It was personal and authentic, never rushed or overly touristy. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and passionate about Alsace, and that enthusiasm was contagious. They gave just the right amount of insight—history, culture, anecdotes—while still giving us time to soak things in quietly. Their local tips were also spot-on, from bakery recommendations to scenic rest stops we never would have found on our own. All in all, this tour was a perfect blend of activity, relaxation, culture, and indulgence. It gave us a deep appreciation not just for Alsatian wine, but for the pace of life here. We finished the day feeling satisfied, inspired, and more connected to the region than we ever expected. If you're considering exploring the Route des Vins, skip the bus tours or crowded vans. Hop on an e-bike and take the scenic route.

Memorable experience! - We had a lovely time from start to finish. Just as others have said, Glenn is an extremely knowledgeable and capable guide. He knows just where to pause and share new information. We loved that the villages were interesting but not touristy. The countryside was beautiful. The e-bikes made the experience accessible and easy. We finished with a fantastic wine tasting! We will be back!

Take this tour!!! - What an amazing tour! Glen, our guide, took us through some of the most charming wine villages in the Alsace region of France. We visited an old church, town halls, town fountains and heard the stories behind many of these charming places. The wine tasting at the end was great and we thoroughly enjoyed the bottle we took on with us and will be checking to see how we can obtain more varieties locally back in the US. Glen had a great sense of humor and allowed us moments to drink in the spectacular scenery as well. Biking through the countryside will always be some of the best memories of our trip.

Fun bike tour through Alsace winery area - My wife and I wants to see some local sights on Colmar. This tour fit the bill for a number of reasons. Seeing the local winery and grape vines was awesome! E-bikes were helpf for those hills while navigating the hills. Glenn was our guide and he spoke clear English. This made the tour a bit easier being here from the Americas. Great history and we kearned a good bug about the local Alsatian culture. The price was reasonable. If you come on a chilly day, bring gloves since you will be cruising down hill at speeds that may chill you. Definitely worth the time ! Recommend 😀 👍👍

Beautiful Alsace Wine Tour By Bike - Glenn provided my son and me with a fabulous tour of the Alsace countryside and wine region. He’s quite friendly and was right on time. On the tour, he shared interesting historical facts, details of the process involved in making the wine and highlights of local culture. We had e-bikes which made the ride easy and enjoyable. He provided a snack and bottle of water too. We stopped in several of the local towns and toured a beautiful church. He also gave time for me to stop along the way for pictures. We spotted a stork making a nest in a tree so that was pretty special since they are only in Alsace for a short while. The tour concluded with a lovely wine tasting at a local family co-op vineyard in his neighborhood. We had generous portions and the wine and champagne was very good. It’s a beautiful space. I bought some bottles to take home. I’d highly recommend this tour and Glenn did a really fantastic job as our host.
