Start your day by meeting your guide in Pigadia (if a transfer has been arranged) or at our friendly starting point in Pini Volada. In just ten minutes, you’ll arrive at the island’s highest village—Othos—where breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea prepare you for the adventure ahead.

The route meanders from the serene east coast to the verdant, vineyard-covered hills of Kallenes on the west, with the distant outline of Kasos island shimmering on the horizon. Along the journey, there will be a stop in the tranquil mountain village of Stes for a soothing tea break under the shade of the local church—ideal for catching your breath and experiencing genuine island life.

Afterward, the scenic walk continues back to Othos, where a charming taverna awaits. Here, enjoy a traditional Karpathian lunch—featuring fresh, local flavors served with warm hospitality.

The walk lasts about 3 hours at a leisurely pace, allowing ample time to relish the breeze and the island’s vibrant, green scenery. Bring a windbreaker and your curiosity—Karpathos is ready to delight you at every turn!
