Now I have a friend in Petra! - Our experience in Petra was truly extraordinary thanks to our guide, Ismail Nas’. Over two full days, he led us on a fascinating and unforgettable journey through Petra, including the iconic Treasury and the awe-inspiring Monastery. Stop searching for a guide and just book Ismail. - I have met many guides in my life and Ismail is right up there with the best of them! From the moment we met (in the dark) for our first day in Petra i knew we were going to get along famously. The potential of being caught up in large crowds in Petra had been a real concern for me as i want to take pictures with minimal people in the frame and Ismail made that happen. We met early on the first day (thus it was dark) and he got us to the Treasury with a handful of others there. Great! But then it got better. He took us to all sorts of secret locations that the growing hordes of tourists never bothered with and talked us through each one with real authority and enthusiasm…a rare trait. I feel we really saw the best of Petra that day and got loads of great photos which we will treasure. The next day we hiked through the “back door” of Petra to the Monastery which on paper looked daunting but once again Ismail led the way at a gentle pace and got us there before the masses arrived….even having time to stop for tea along the way. Ismail is a real gentleman and a pleasure to be with. I would wholeheartedly recommend his guiding not only in Petra but also throughout Jordan…as he also offers that as well. Thank you Ismail for the great adventures and plenty of laughs along the way.

The best guide we have ever had - Ismail was recommended to us by a friend who has used his services a few months the back. Initially we signed up to one day but quickly extended to two days when we realised how special Ismail was. Ismail’s knowledge of Wadi Musa, Petra, Jordan, the whole region, along with its history, culture, food, and anything else you can thing of is truly astounding. A wealth of knowledge and experience! - We had an incredible time with Ismail in both Petra and Wadi Rum! He spoke excellent English, helped us see things we would have never otherwise found, and was a wealth of information on not only sites but also all our questions about local culture. He was also very patient with us taking a lot of time for pictures and just all around friendly and personable. Petra - My friends, family, and I did a tour with Ismail and had an amazing time! He is so knowledgeable of Petra and showed us multiple things we had missed walking to see the candlelight show the night before. He took us on the high road above parts of Petra which gave us a better view. He was very patient with us while my friends and I took a lot of pictures! We also had a great time going to see Wadi Rum. He is very friendly, kind, and an excellent guide. Would 100% recommend! Of note, Jordan is extremely safe so don’t hesitate to go! It is a wonderful country!
