Petra a marvel - The trip is very tiring but worth it. Everything was very well organized and the guide for the Jordan section was amazing; he explained everything very clearly and was always attentive to the people.

Amazing experience - Excellent trip. It’s a gruelling journey from Sharm but well worth it. The guide was very good but we felt the tour was moving a bit slow as we wanted to complete the whole trail so we left the group and went on our own and then met the bus at the end. The hike up to the monastery is a killer but the view is stunning.

It is worth it - Experience consistent with everything written on the site, well organized and with very helpful, nice and trained guides. We don't deny it's a tiring tour, but it's certainly worth it.

The tour was very well... - The tour was very well organized given how many people were present and the short time frame you’re operating in. The food was lackluster and they charge you for water, soda, and/or juice. You will be tired by the end but glad you did it.

Amazing Petra! - Long day but absolutely worth it! The tour operator was well organized. Everything was as described. Tour groups are large (full bus 40+ people). But guided visit groups are smaller as they separate by language. Petra is amazing. Bring some snacks and water, because the trip is long. They make sufficient stops for bathroom breaks and you can buy snacks. Definitely recommend it but it is somewhat exhausting.

Petra is worth it but a very long exhausting day - Phwar what a long day! Petra is of course worth it, but you need to consider a few things before you book this trip: - It is an extremely long day, most of which you will spend on buses and boats (up to 9 hours each way) - Starts from 1am and will get you home a similar time 24 hours later - If you are English-speaking, it’s worth noting this is a predominantly Russian-speaking tour. The main tour guide seems excellent (who does the Russian bit), with the English speaking guide leaving a lot to be desired - The food is quite low quality and the canteen where we ate choatic and rushed - chicken and other items were cold so I mostly didn’t risk it, making this quite pointless. Bring lots of snacks and water!! Overall I enjoyed Petra so much that it made it worth it despite these down-sides. Would I do it this way again? Probably not. My advice? - If it’s your only option - do it. - If you can spend a night over in Jordan, this would be far more preferable allowing you to enjoy it more without feeling totally exhausted

Worth it - I went together with my brother. The trip started at 00:30am and took roughly 24hrs. Tour was well organized with pickup, big bus, ferry, bus in Jordan and back. We had the full 4hours in Petra as advertised which was important to us. 2 hours guided tour + 2 hours to explore on our own - good split. For exploration time we spent 1 hour to climb up the mountain to the sanctum for a great view. Groups were separated into russian speaking, polish speaking and english speaking. Our english speaking guide Raid was great - very knowledgable, laid back guy. Lunch at a restaurant after the tour was a buffett and very decent as well. The tour itself as we experienced it was a 5* - just taking a star off as the price is on the higher side - but as a once in a lifetime we can definetly recommend it as its not just the sandstone walls but the narrow gorges and valleys are impressive as well + Aqaba is very pretty and the ferry ride is quite fun and helps to lighten up the trip. The whole trip is a bit exhausting but you can catchup on sleep during the bus ride and onboard the ferry.

Petra - The female coach lead (Alisa) allowed a man to threaten me and record me on the coach after he refused to take his seat forward and proceeded to be against my lap for the journey. Alisa lacked the common sense to figure out that if everyone reclined their seats it would be uncomfortable for most, particularly those at the back. Alisa continued to point in my face, whilst asking me to calm down, instructions better suited to herself. She informed me she “could do whatever she wants as she is in Egypt” - a strange comment to make. That being said Petra was wonderful and the English speaking guide was very informative and professional. “Lunch” was served at 4pm so bring lots of snacks and drinks along. Some confusion regarding the visa being included as part of the package as they were quoting €30 for those needing visas however this did not apply to me.
