Day 1: Amman - Petra: 3-hour drive from Amman

Petra - Head south to the Nabatean Red Rose City of Petra, celebrated as one of the world’s wonders. Located 139 miles (225 kilometers) from Amman, this city was carved into stone over 2000 years ago to control the trade routes of ancient Arabia. Explore its towns, dams, and water channels, and enjoy a stroll through the narrow siq, the main entrance to the city. The first sight is the Khazneh, believed to be a tomb for a Nabatean King. In the afternoon, travel to Wadi Rum, known as the valley of the moon, where the films Lawrence of Arabia and The Martian were shot. Spend the night in a Bedouin camp within the Rum reserve, a unique and tranquil spot, enjoying dinner prepared in Bedouin style and evening activities. The camp includes tents with beds, blankets, toilets, a dining room, and all essentials for living, including solar-powered electricity.

Wadi Rum - Amman

Wadi Rum Protected Area - After breakfast, embark on a 2-hour 4x4 Jeep tour in Wadi Rum using local Bedouin vehicles. Wadi Rum features a uniquely-shaped massive mountain rising from the rosy red desert sands, with towering cliffs in various shades of brown, red, and gold. Later, proceed to the Dead Sea.

Dead Sea Region - Continue to the Dead Sea, the Earth’s lowest point at over 1,300 feet (400 meters) below sea level. Known for its stunning beauty and biblical significance as the site of Sodom and Gomorrah, the Dead Sea is a natural wonder. Its calm, shimmering waters, rich in salt and minerals, create a surreal landscape of peace and reflection. Enjoy the breathtaking views and serene atmosphere before returning to Amman, rejuvenated by this unforgettable encounter with nature.
