Dana Nature Reserve - As Jordan’s largest nature reserve, Dana spans over 300 square kilometers of breathtaking landscapes. From sandstone cliffs and copper-rich canyons to verdant valleys and desert plains, Dana presents an unforgettable mix of scenery, history, and biodiversity.
️ Location: Dana village, Tafila Governorate, southern Jordan
Ecosystems: A convergence of Mediterranean, desert, and African habitats

Shobak Castle - Shobak Castle stands as one of Jordan’s most important Crusader fortresses, rich in history and majestically situated on a hilltop.
Little Petra - Al-Beidha, often referred to as Little Petra, is an archaeological treasure located just a few kilometers north of Petra. Although smaller, it offers a serene and intimate look into the Nabataean world, often without the crowds of the main Petra site.
️ Historical Significance: Al-Beidha was a crucial suburb of Petra, likely serving as a residential and trade hub for caravans along the incense route.
️ Name Meaning: “Al-Beidha” translates to “the white one” in Arabic, highlighting the pale sandstone cliffs that characterize the area.
Key Highlights:
Carved Facades: Nabataean tombs, temples, and dwellings carved into the sandstone cliffs.
The Painted House: A rare Nabataean structure with well-preserved interior frescoes—one of the few remaining examples of Nabataean painting.
Siq al-Barid: The cool, narrow canyon (its name means “Cold Siq”) that provides a dramatic and shaded entrance into Little Petra.
