Petra - Wadi Musa - Day 1: Amman - Petra - Wadi Rum
Begin your journey from Amman and head south to Petra in the morning. Situated 139 miles (225 kilometers) from Amman, Petra was intricately carved into stone over 2,000 years ago. Upon arrival, walk through the narrow Siq to reach the main entrance of the city. At the end of the Siq, marvel at the Treasury (al-Khazneh), once believed to hold countless treasures. Continue your exploration to the monastery and the Altar of Sacrifice.
