Wadi Rum Protected Area - Wadi Rum Village - Upon arrival at the Wadi Rum Visitor Centre, guests will need to present their Jordan Pass or pay a 5 JD entrance fee before proceeding to Wadi Rum Village.
The meeting point is at the Wadi Rum Rest House, which is the first building on the right upon arrival.
Pick-up is available between 9:30 and 10:00 am. Once all participants have arrived, the tour will commence promptly at 10:00 am.
Initially, the guide will introduce themselves and outline the tour and itinerary for the day.
Wadi Rum Protected Area - After pick-up, guests will be driven by jeep to Jebal Al Hash, located in the Al Forah area near the Jordanian-Saudi Arabian border. The journey takes approximately 40-60 minutes.
This mountain is accessible for those with little hiking experience or those seeking an easy hike. The hike begins on the eastern side of the mountain in the Um Snenah Valley, ascending to the summit, and descending via the north-western side through Wadi Nuqra.
This mountain offers stunning views, and at its peak (1700m above sea level), visitors can admire the vibrant colors of Wadi Rum. The hike takes approximately 5 hours.
Wadi Rum Protected Area - Bedouin Lunch - After reaching the summit, guests will descend, and the guide will prepare lunch while guests rest for an hour.
Wadi Rum Protected Area - White Desert - The next stop is the White Desert, known for its expansive views, flatter formations, and wider valleys.
Guests will visit Qatar Spring, Bedouin Dam, Wadi Nugra, and enjoy a short hike in the White Desert.
Wadi Rum Protected Area - Um Sabatah - At sunset, the pinnacles and canyons of Wadi Rum glow with vivid golden and red hues.
Guests can enjoy these breathtaking landscapes and capture the golden hour while sipping hot Bedouin tea by the fire before returning to camp.
Wadi Rum Protected Area - Overnight at Traditional Campsite - The camp is located in the heart of the UNESCO-protected area, where guests can explore or relax by a bonfire with traditional homemade tea before enjoying a Bedouin dinner cooked under the sand. After dinner, guests can continue to enjoy the bonfire, stargaze, and share stories and jokes.
When ready, guests can retire to their Bedouin camp for a cozy night in the desert, surrounded by a sky full of stars.
Traditional Bedouin Breakfast and Transfer Back to the Wadi Rum Village
Wadi Rum Protected Area - Catch the Sunrise - This viewpoint is a short walk from the camp. The guide will direct guests to the viewpoint for a panoramic view that combines the white and desert landscapes.
After returning from the viewpoint, guests can relax and explore the camp in the morning light before enjoying a traditional breakfast served between 7-8 am.
Wadi Rum Protected Area - Wadi Rum Village - Following breakfast, guests will be transferred back to Wadi Rum Village for their next adventure, concluding the tour around 9:30 to 10:00 am.
