- Jebel Khazali - The tour begins with a visit to Lawrence Spring, offering an opportunity to explore this remarkable location and admire the breathtaking landscape from above.
Jebel Khazali, a peak located in the heart of the Wadi Rum Protected Area, features a narrow fissure approximately 100 meters long. Its inner walls are adorned with Thamudic, Nabatean, and Islamic inscriptions, as well as petroglyphs depicting humans and animals. Notably, the petroglyphs of soles of feet likely held religious significance. In 1932, French epigraphist Savignac documented the engravings in the cleft and published some in 1934.
The petroglyphs and inscriptions of Khazali Siq form an impressive collection, making it one of the major tourist attractions in Wadi Rum. At the canyon’s end, several man-made rock-cut basins are used for water collection.
- Red Sand Dune - Al Ramal - Wadi Rum in southern Jordan boasts stunning, expansive golden and red sand dunes contrasting with towering sandstone mountains, often referred to as the “Valley of the Moon.” Renowned for its otherworldly landscape, it is a UNESCO World Heritage site, offering Jeep tours, camel rides, and stargazing. Key locations include the red dunes near Khazali Canyon and high yellow dunes in Wadi Um Ishrin.

Upon returning to the camp, there will be time to rest before enjoying a traditional zarb dinner cooked under the sand.
A Zarb dinner in Wadi Rum is a traditional Bedouin barbecue where meat and vegetables are slow-cooked for several hours in an underground oven, creating a smoky, tender, and flavorful meal. It is considered a must-try culinary experience in Jordan.
