Great to - Experience was great. It was learning historically… It opened my heart… And I was able to use some of the items in the museum to use in my class as a teacher.

Convenient way to cover 2 must-sees in Nola - This was a great way to see the Whitney and the swamp in one day. There aren’t many companies that offer this combo, and we felt that the pricewas worth the convenience of not needing to deal with car rental and logistics since they are both a ways outside the city. We were picked up at our hotel promptly at 8am and we were back by about 445pm. The tour company mostly acts just as transportation, with a self guided Whitney tour and an airboat tour with Ragin Cajun. We thought it was a perfect amount of time, with about 2 hrs at each place and didn’t feel rushed. As a bonus we got to spend a 30min break at Oak Alley in between. I would definitely recommend this combo for anyone who wants to cover both sites while short on time, the Whitney is a must see and speeding by gators on an airboat was a great time and good contrast with the heavy experience preceding it.

Great historical... - Great historical experience, and BamBam was an amazing driver. Our whole group had a really educational experience at the Whitney Plantation, which did a great job of preserving the history and making sure the horrors of slavery are not forgotten. The swamp tour was also a lot of fun. It would have been made better if the tour guides would give more information on the ecology and plant-life in the swamps. It was fun to see all of the alligators, but would have also been great to hear more about the plant life, other animals, and the ecological features of the swamps.

Less crowded - If you are looking to visit a beautiful plantation less crowded, this is the place. Whitney Plantation had so much history. It was painful to learn about history, but at the same time necessary so history won’t repeat itself. The self-guided tour was easy to follow and we were going on our own pace. The speed boat was fun, saw small and larger alligators. Just know they don’t sell alcohol. Many parties brought their own booze. Larry our guide was amazing.

Fantastic - The Whitney was wonderful and the air boat was equally terrific. Our driver Larry/Bam Bam was the best! Little Eric with Rajun Cajun was so fun and interesting, it was obvious he loves his job that made it even more enjoyable for us!
