• Walvis Bay Waterfront - The Catamaran Cruise departs at 08h30 from the Waterfront and returns around 12h00. Along the way, you’ll see Pelicans, Seals, and often Dolphins. On a good day, you might spot the Sunfish (Mola Mola) and even Whales (during the whaling season). Sometimes Pelicans fly very close, and we stop at the seal colony to view the 50,000-strong seal colony from the sea. Snacks are served on the Catamaran. We return to the waterfront where our guide from Sandwichharbourtours.com will take us to Sandwich Harbor. The time to embark and disembark the Catamaran is not included in the tour duration (this takes about 20 minutes).
• Walvis Bay Esplanade - From the Waterfront, we proceed to the Esplanade and stop at the Pink Flamingos. We deflate our tires and pass the Pink Salt lakes on our way along the shore to the towering Dunes of Sandwich Harbor. We pass windswept dunes and a variety of seabirds. We may also see Seals and jackals.
• Walvis Bay - We drive past the Walvis Bay Lagoon, the Pink salt lakes of the Salt Mine, and onto the shore, traveling south along the beach for 60km. We encounter many bird species, both migratory and resident, including Flamingos, Pelicans, Avocets, Terns, and many more. We enter the Namib Naukluft Park and reach the towering Dunes of Sandwich Harbor. We drive along the ‘Lange Wand,’ where the sea meets the dunes, with only a narrow strip of beach to travel on, making the tide very important. The dune views are stunning. It’s a rollercoaster ride up to the viewpoint, where the most beautiful sight unfolds at your feet. After enjoying the wonderful dune views, we head back through the dunes. We visit various viewpoints, take short dune walks, and explore. It’s absolutely amazing. It’s awesome! We have a light lunch at a scenic spot along the route. We search for wildlife in the desert during a small game drive. We head back onto the beach and return to Walvis Bay, where we drop you off at your cruise liner or hotel.

• please note all Cruise Liner passengers, your tour pick up time starts an hour after you have docked. The tour will depart latest an hour and a half after the pick up time. Late comers are considered a no show
