- Maeklong Railway Market (Talad Rom Hub) - The markets of Thailand are some of the country’s most quintessential experiences; they give you a lively peek inside the more traditional culture of a country that often lives by water (or in this case, by the railroad tracks as well!). Maeklong Train Market: Talad Rom Hoop is a fresh market situated right by a well-worn railroad. Watch the vendors expertly close and open their awnings to make room as the trains pass by.
- Wat Bang Kung - A striking Buddhist temple engulfed by the roots of a massive Banyan Tree. Learn about its bloody battle history and see the Golden Buddha inside.
- Amphawa Floating Market - Located on the Amphawa canal, the Amphawa Floating Market is one of Thailand’s more popular floating markets. View this riverside market and see vendors sell delicious treats like sweets and seafood, or browse some of the shophouses and restaurants

Floating market and magic fireflies - Our guide Nancy was incredibly kind, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Visiting Amohawa Market was a charming experience, and the firefly viewing boat tour was simply magical.

Beautiful experience to discover a more authentic Thailand - Very suggestive excursion that allowed us to live and breathe the authentic way of life outside the chaos of Bangkok, from the bustle of the characteristic railway market, to the more poetic floating market (attention, it takes place only in the morning). The guide was attentive to our needs and perfectly exhaustive, experience definitely recommended!

Memorable and fun private family tour - The entire private tour experience was awesome starting with the hotel pickup in Bangkok. Our tour guide, Jeerawat Muangyoo, and the van driver were knowledgeable and excellent guides. Maeklong train market and Amphawa floating market along with the dusk fireflies boat ride were truly memorable experiences. Highly recommend TripGuru for your private tour when in Thailand.

Extremely fun private tour of railway and floating markets - I booked a private full-day Amphawa Floating Market and Maeklong Railway Market tour with TripGuru. My guide was Bond and she is lovely and just the best. Bond was on time meeting me at my hotel, and she spoke perfect English. She is extremely knowledgeable about both markets, such as knowing where to find the best food and also what are must-tries, and she is also friendly, kind and very attentive. When I didn’t manage to get the shot I wanted of the train at Maeklong Railway Market, she suggested that we stay another hour to wait for the next train and head to another spot where I managed to get the shot I was aiming for. I enjoyed the tour and can’t wait to bring my family here too. The boat tour was peaceful and it was really interesting to see the homes of the locals and also observe how everyone has a paddle boat instead of a motorbike to get around. Bond also brought me to a local seafood market where we saw huge fresh fish being sold as well as many different types of fresh seafood and dried food items. This is where locals come to shop so the prices are extremely reasonable. I had so much fun on tour with Bond and TripGuru, and I would highly recommend anyone travelling Bangkok to include this in their itinerary.
