A Wonderful Walking Tour at Kaohsiung on a Rainy Day ;) - My experience in Kaohsiung walking tour was fantastic. Claire spoke very good English and was very thorough with sharing the history,, architecture, art and social life of this town, which was fascinating. She also was pleasant, patient and very passionate about her heritage. Thanks a lot for making this tour so enjoyable (although the rainy weather) and for letting me discover Kaohsiung through your skillful guiding.

Fantastic 3 Hour Walking Tour - Teresa and Jerry did a fantastic job providing three hours of commentary, insights and history about Taipei and Taiwan. This is a tip-based tour and well worth the time. We learned a lot and got great perspective on Taiwan and its culture. Please tip appropriately. My suggestion is 300-600 per person (USD $10-$20) This is very much worth your 3 hours!

Recommended - The walking tour was great! This tour takes you away from the main sights in Taipei and learns a lot about the history, old and new politics and everyday life in Taipei. Our tour guides Josi and Lina were great and in the end they gave us many places where you can go to eat well. Definitely recommended!

The best value walking tour in the world!!! - This guided tour is one of the best among my more than 30 years, over 25 countries, traveling experience. First, it costs only $5/per person. Second, the tour guides speak perfect English, they both are post college educated young man. They’re eager to introduce Taiwan’ culture, history to the world. Third, the walking pace was just right. I would recommend other tours sponsored by “Like it Taiwan tour “

International Exchange Tours - The book introduces the history of the invasion of Japan from the perspective of architecture and culture, and shows the mistakes of the war, though not much misery. The tour is a reminder of the attitude Japan should take, with the indiscriminate war of killing and nuclear attacks going on in Russia, Israel and the United States. With English-speaking guides and people from all over the world, the tour is not only for gourmets but also for young people. With 18 participants this time, I was the only Japanese in Canada, the United States, the Philippines and Italy.

Be aware - Informative, however was left at the second stop and had to catch up after being just over a minute late to meeting point at the gate. Paid trip advisor but was asked for money by guides.

Disappointing - Meeting time 10am. Stop 1 was Longshan Temple. We (finally) left there 11am. Explanations far too drawn out. An icecream stop and a souvenir shop stop not exactly highlights. A shouted explanation over a brass map of old city with traffic and construction noise and in full sun was the point where we decided to leave. Guess we booked the wrong tour. Somehow thought there was more to see, rather than standing in the sun listening to in depth explanations.
