The best 69 minutes! - What a delightful venue with incredible acoustics for this concert! Our pianist tonight couldn't have done any better at Carnegie Hall. The music was mesmerizing and watching his hands perform was captivating. I am not a classical music officiated by a long stretch, but this concert is a must. Do get there about 10-15 minutes early. Do get a seat where you can see the keyboard, do not come in 10 minutes late, plop your butt in a chair directly across the Steinway from the pianist and whip out your camera! There is a 10 minute intermission and CD to purchase if you choose. Just make time to go!

Exquisite recital by Robert Skiera, but seating etiquette needs attention - We attended the Chopin recital today at the Fryderyk Concert Hall in Warsaw and was thoroughly impressed by the musicality of the performance. We had VIP seats in the first three rows, which offered a truly intimate and "perfect" view of the pianist, Robert Skiera, whose interpretation of the Heroic Polonaise and the Revolutionary Etude was exceptional. The venue itself is beautiful, and the tradition of offering a glass of wine or orange juice during the interlude is a lovely, hospitable touch. However, the experience was slightly marred by a lack of seating supervision after the break. During the intermission, several guests who were originally seated in the back rows moved forward to occupy empty seats in the front rows. This meant that for the second half of the show, our view was partially obstructed by people who had not originally booked those premium spots. While I appreciate the casual, salon-style atmosphere, it was disappointing that the "perfect" view we had specifically selected was compromised mid-performance. I would highly recommend this venue for the talent and the atmosphere, but I would suggest the staff ensure that guests return to their original assigned rows after the interlude to maintain the experience for those who booked front-row seating.

Poor. - Beautiful salon - but! I was told which row to sit in, when there were many better seats free. Noisy air conditioning. A small child was allowed in. There were people videoing the concert, which was even more annoying because they were reflected in a giant mirror behind the piano. The octagenarian pianist was terrible. She banged out every note as though she had a personal grudge against the piano.
