The best Santa/ Christmas experience ever - We had the best time at Warwick castle, staying in knights village for the Santa sleepover. Everything was so perfect. The lodges were fabulous, breakfast gorgeous and the castle beautiful. Santa and Mrs Claus were amazing. The light trail was fantastic. Well done Merlin . This was the best Xmas experience we have ever done and will recommend it to all my friends and family

Best Birthday Present Ever!!! I'm now a Princess. - Birthday trip. My husband booked for us both to come and stay in the Rose Suite (Cesar Tower). Most magic surreal experience and a feast for the senses. The suite was absolutely stunning, the location was absolutely stunning and the staff/tour guides/concierge are absolutely amazing!! Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. We started off with priority parking, our gold card allowed us discount and access. We went on to experience the most delicious festive afternoon tea. Followed by a private tour of the most stunning part of the castle. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and funny. We ended the day with the light walk. So beautiful 😍 the grounds were lit up with music along the trail (12 days of Christmas). Waking up in the castle, wow! The room was lovely and warm. With everything to make you comfortable. We were gifted a beautiful bottle of champagne 🍾 (yummy) bottles of water/coffee machine and biscuits. Oh not to forget the slippers and toiletries. Wow!!! Breakfast. This was magical (We'd ordered the day before) The location wow!! My breakfast was cooked to perfection and was delicious (eggs benedict with bacon) ( full English for hubby) you could order whatever you wanted to eat/drink. We spent the rest of the day exploring the castle/King Maker wax works, the mound (walked to the top) we experienced the dungeons tour, so funny!! And that perfect mix of scary/educational/ jumpy we had the best time. Before we left we explored the food and drink village and purchased a pulled pork roll with stuffing, onions and apple sauce absolutely yummy!! Home now wishing we were back. We've walked so many steps in the footprints of many. We've stood in rooms that royalty have enjoyed and experienced history. We will be back with our children. Can't wait!!!

Wonderful Santa experience - It was a great experience, we enjoyed the Hotel the room was comfortable and very clean. Dinner at the buffet restaurant was very tasty and replenished quickly. Service was friendly and fun. Wow the light show was fantastic despite the rain we loved every second. Wake up by elf was cute, and Santa and mother Christmas were lovely. Fantastic weekend away and would definitely recommend.

Great but expensive Christmas stay. - Overall brilliant family experience overnight for Christmas. We stayed for 1 night/2 days at the onsite hotel, and included ice skating, the light trail, and stories with Father Christmas. The hotel was fantastic - clean and well themed. The beds were smaller than expected. Loved the evening entertainment as it was panto themed and one of our best memories from the trip. Breakfast was nice but standard buffet. Ice skating was great fun, not crowded as we had a midday slot on a Friday. Light trail also not crowded or rushed and was beautiful. Food stalls were limited and expensive. The Father Christmas experience was amazing, the elves were brilliant as was the big man himself. Highly recommend. However, vastly over priced and expensive. We thought we’d book for this year as a one time thing but couldn’t afford to go yearly.

Amazing event for Christmas and fab service from the accessibility team. - We had a great time at Christmas in the Castle. Ice Skating - we wish we had booked this more than once during our stay. It was lots of fun and very well organised. The setting is stunning. It is quieter earlier on in the day and gets busy early evenings. Light trail - The best light trail we have done. It was not crowded, did not feel rushed and so much to see and do. We loved the snow queen on the real horse. The interactive elements like choosing the colour on the Christmas tree lights and setting off the 'tree' were particularly favoured by our youngest daughter. We loved the variety of music as we walked round too and the review of the year projection. It was all well signposted too and food and drink available half way round. The photo that was took was reasonably priced to purchase (£25 for two large photos and 2 baubles). We also enjoyed walking up on to the top of the castle in the dark to see the view. -The Great Hall Don't miss the great hall; the trees are incredible. Food - There was lots of choice in the food market but expect standard winter market prices. The crumble, pretzels and jacket potatoes were are favourites. A special shout out to the accessibility team - they went above and beyond helping my mum with a wheelchair and mobility scooter. The maps were detailed and they couldn't have been anymore helpful. Thank you so much

Lovely Christmas event - It was a very rainy day yesterday however there are plenty of indoor activities to do, the extra £6 for the dungeon is well worth it, a fun interactive experience but avoid if you don't like tight spaces. The rooms in the castle are beautifully decorated for Christmas. We did the light show and found it lovely, well sign posted and make sure you wait at each musical show until it starts from the beginning. Towards the end there is an undercover area with seats, where you could get drinks and food, and a marshmallow roasting fire pit. The ice rink was a bit water logged due to the rain, however this is the UK and the weather has it's own ideas! I didn't skate, but I have skated on water logged rinks like that before and it is perfectly safe. All the staff we met were lovely and friendly.

Light trail - Long queues and no wow factor! - Sadly, our ice-skating got cancelled after just 2 laps as there was an accident but this couldn't be helped and apparently we will get refunded. The light trail wasn't the best, arrived on time and then queued for 30 mins in the cold just to get on to the trail, the lights weren't the best in our opinion, definitely missing the wow factor! There is no where to sit under cover near the food and drink stalls so when it's wet and cold its not ideal, some gazebos or a marquee would be good. The food and drinks are also expensive - £6.50 for a hot chocolate. The car park is a 20 minute walk away from the entrance so factor that in when allowing time to reach the entrance. All the staff we met were lovely though.
