Wonderfully Festive and Magical Evening - We had such a great time at the Warwick Castle light trail. It was excellent and honestly perfect for everyone and easy to navigate. The lights were plentiful all the way around and really well done, with a spectacular projected film showing highlights from 2025 which looked amazing against the castle walls. The walk itself was a joy, with lots of little pit stops along the way. There were places to sit and warm your hands, plus hot chocolate, coffee and a tempting selection of food and snacks to purchase. We especially loved the marshmallow toasting pots which felt very festive and fun. The hot chocolate was delicious and very welcome on a chilly evening. Among this, they had little gift stalls where you could purchase some Warwick castle merchandise including baubles. There was also an ice skating rink available for an extra charge which we skipped this time, but it is definitely on the list for next visit. One of the highlights for us was watching the trebuchet launch which added a bit of drama and made the whole experience even more memorable. We ventured up the windy steps of the tower and it gave us a fantastic view of all the lights! All in all it was a brilliant evening, beautifully done and really enjoyable from start to finish. We will definitely be going back.

Awesome but rude access to trail person! - It was absolutely amazing. However, the person scanning our e tickets to the light trail was having difficulty and was very rude to us. A college came to help her and it was then OK but it was not nice being treated in this way on a day out!

Good family outing - We went for the light trail. We parked reasonably close, which I did not except. Entry was easy and quick. The trail itself was clear and we enjoyed the variety of lights on display. It was not overly busy which was a bonus. We also went to the ramparts which I did not expect to be open and had a lovely ariel view of the lights. We enjoyed our time there.

Fantastic day out for the family - My family and i have attend Christmas at Warwick castle for the last few years & it's something we look forward too over the festive period. The atmosphere never disappoints from the fantastic food & drink too the light trail. Its definitely something that brings the family together for fun and laughter!!! My only ick is that we had to pay £7 for parking on a muddy field. It was especially busy and fully understand the use of the field was required, but perhaps it could be at a reduced rate?

Not great - We were in the area and decided at the last minute to see the christmas light trail at the castle. For £18 each it was very disappointing. We finished the circuit in about a hour and we weren't rushing. The light displays were just a bit boring - great for kids probably but as two full paying adults, we wouldn't come again. We have been to a number of christmas light trails over the years and most definitely felt this one was the worst. The revenue made from the trail and from the extortionate parking (£7) you'd think the castle would be able to put up a few signs to direct pedestrians to the entrance.

Disappointing light trail 2025 - We have been going to the light trail at Warwick Castle for about 5 yrs now and is usually on of the best things we do at Christmas. However, 2025 was disappointing as the trail was a lot shorter, not much to see and the food and drinks were heavily over priced. We paid the same amount for half the trail. We won't be attending again for the price charged.

PARKING CHARGE - We got a parking charge for parking in the (Castle stables parking), we paid £10 to park there however we apparently needed to pay an additional fee for night rates, staying after 5pm. However the machine didn't give us this option, the only option was to pay the £10. Watch out for this scam!!!!!!
