Great! - We had an amazing time on the Cotswolds Distillery tour! Dean was an outstanding guide – knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about what he does. The tour was really well structured, with just the right mix of education and fun. We got a fascinating look into how both their whisky and gin are made, and everything was explained in a clear and interesting way. The tasting session at the end was a real treat – both the whisky and gin were exceptional. We even got to try two Amaros, and, as Italians, we can say they were a fantastic surprise, really well made and with a lot of character! Whether you're a seasoned spirit lover or just curious, this tour is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!

A must do trip for gin and whiskey fans - Visiting from Bristol for the day we had a wonderful trip to the distillery. Tom our guide was welcoming and knowledgeable and both the setting and distillery were wonderful. The tour was informative and well paced and the tasting room was comfy and informal, which I appreciated. The tasting was good fun and a perfect introduction to English Whisky and their gin too. The Sherry cask was delicious. My wife was driving but the takeaway goodie bag was a nice touch. We had a nice lunch afterwards whilst sitting in the sun and chatting with some of the other tour participants. I would recommend this to any gin or whiskey fans, or to those who might be curious, it's a lovely setting.

Hats off to Hattie! - We really enjoyed our visit to the distillery and were lucky enough to meet the founder who was there in the shop. It was one of the best tours we’ve seen (and we’ve done quite a few) because Hattie, our guide, really knew her stuff and you could tell she was part of the place, not just someone who had learned a script. The tasting was great with lots of advice and a very thoughtful and sensible option for drivers to take a small bottle or two of their choice to do their tasting at home, so they didn’t feel left out. Please, next time, for those of us avoiding sugar, can we have the option of Light tonic? Fantastic place, great food in the cafe afterwards, lovely afternoon.

A wonderful experience - We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and tasting experience. Hattie, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and looked after us. Getting to see the distilleries up close was really good and the tasting session was very well organised, even with a little take away bag for those who were designated drivers. Accessibility was pretty good although there are some stairs. However this is well explained when you book. The shop was well laid out and we had a delicious lunch from the cafe. Definitely would recommend!

I went to experience the taste of English Gin and Whisky and I definitely received what I went for! Very good! - Very interesting. Unfortunately there was a lorry delivering product so a lot of outside noise made it difficult to hear the presentation. Would definitely advise CD to have some sort of speaker/amplification system, even if only a very simple one.

A wonderful place to visit! - What a wonderful afternoon! We had lunch in the cafe (and sat outside - thank you glorious weather!), took the tour with the exceptional Kevin, and then sat outside after our tasting was finished, and had coffee and cake. I don’t drink alcohol (why take a tour you may ask haha), but if I suddenly decided to it would be because of Kevin! He speaks so wonderfully and creatively about whiskey and gin, that it made me wish I loved it! He is a fantastic storyteller and our entire group had a wonderful time. As a side note - the cafe was wonderful, food is so nice and the staff are so friendly! Same as the shop (I even had a little dance with one of them haha). The grounds are stunningly kept, and there is a clear focus on reuse, recycle and sustainability. What a joy to come here - a real credit to everyone involved.

Enjoyable but tasting was rushed - The tour was interesting and informative although sometimes hard to hear as it is a working distillery. Just felt a bit rushed at the end in the tasting room as only 1/2 hr allowed. Other gin tasting experiences I’ve been to you were allowed to taste a choice of maybe 3 or 4 samples then you had a full measure of your favourite sample with the appropriate mixer and fruit to compliment.
