  It is closed because the Library of Congress is closed on Monday, and we will substitute the US Capitol Museum and spend more time at the US Capitol.
  Any tour starting at 8 AM is solely the US Capitol, followed by joining the bus tour for the morning or the full-day tour

  Additionally, the 8:00 a.m. US Capitol tour does NOT include the Library of Congress. All other daily tours do, except for Mondays as mentioned above.
  All tours start at 8 AM, 9 AM, 11:30 AM, and 2 PM from the meeting point at First Street and Maryland Avenue NE, across from the United States Supreme Court. No signs are allowed. Please meet us 15 minutes before the starting time.

The tour will feature a photo opportunity at the East and West plazas of the U.S. Capitol Building, the site of past and present presidential inaugurations. Highlights include the President Garfield Statue and Grant Plaza, home to the largest equestrian statue in America. Participants will also enjoy an exterior view of the Library of Congress, where they will discover the significance of the Gutenberg Bible and learn why President Lincoln’s silk-lined leather wallet is housed there, along with appreciating the stunning architecture. Additionally, the tour includes an exterior view of the U.S. Supreme Court Building, offering insights into the nation’s highest court and the justices who have shaped its legacy.
