All good. - Ryan was well informed and added a bit of humour so a good mix. Tour covered both inside and outside elements so was ideal in that respect.

Great experience - mostly - Jim was an amazing guide for the Supreme Court and Congressional Library. He shared a lot of information and antidotal tidbits. We were on the 1:00 tour with timed tickets for the Capitol at 3:20 with a Capitol Guide. Unfortunately I felt the Capitol part of the trip was rushed by our guide as they close at 4:30. May be something to consider when booking.

Felt the description and... - Felt the description and the actual experience differed. The tour guide was just "okay"; found discrepancies in what he said vs the truth that could readily be found online. My friend is quite a bit older as were many others on the tour and she commented that he didn't foresee the need for the use of the elevator as much as he probably should have given the age of the participants. Overall, it was average but not as good as other Viator tours I've used.

Take your own tour for free - I do not recommend this tour by Walks-USA. Their directions to the meeting place are so bare minimal that we never could find our tour group. It said that the tour meets at the Library of Congress at the "James Madison Memorial Bldg on 199 Independence Ave. The area is huge and there are actually 3 buildings for the Library of Congress. It takes time to find the right building (small signs and address not obvious). We tried to get there early but traffic was not having it. We actually went to the correct building first a minute or two after 1 (tour was at 1), but there was no tour group at the front entrance. Nothing was specified as to meeting inside or outside the building. We figured they would start at the main classical building, so we went there. But we did not find them, nor were they at the 3rd building. Your directions should have explained that there are three buildings and you would be meeting us at the modern, boxy-looking building. You should also state that you would be either at the inside or the outside of the entrance. An identifying sign would also have helped. Your directions were simply not helpful to out-of-towners and we missed the tour, which cost us $119. Finally, I would like to tell people that you can walk into any of these places for free and they have docents to answer your questions. The free tour available at the Capitol is great. You don't need to pay for a tour.

Tour guide never showed up! - We are currently seeking a refund because we were misinformed about meeting place. We showed up 25 minutes early and waited at meeting point; however, tour guide never showed. When we called, we had been given an incorrect meeting location. It was VERY disappointing, as this tour was supposed to be a vacation highlight for our family.
