The Library of Congress is closed on Mondays, so the tour will instead include the U.S. Capitol Museum, with additional time spent at the U.S. Capitol. Tours starting at 8 a.m. focus solely on the U.S. Capitol, followed by a bus tour for the morning or full day. All U.S. Capitol tours meet at First Street and Maryland Ave NE, across from the Supreme Court. Enjoy your tour with Signature Tours and DC Guided Tours. Additionally, the 8:00 a.m. U.S. Capitol tour does NOT include the Library of Congress. All other daily tours do, except on Mondays as mentioned above. All tours commence at 8 AM, 9 AM, 11:30 AM, and 2 PM from the meeting point at First Street and Maryland Avenue NE, across from the United States Supreme Court. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time.

Solo trip at the Capital - I signed up for this tour the night before based purely on the reviews and time availability. Dewayne was my tour guide and he was able to answer every question I had inside and outside thoroughly. Loved the tour. I got lucky in so far as I was the only one on this tour and I got a private walk through the grounds with Dewayne. It was awesome. My favorite part was the dome and justice on top. Learned a lot I highly recommend this tour. Dewayne was awesome.

Informative tour - Our guide was informative and friendly.
The tour was nice. At the capital, we joined a larger group and were given headsets. A capital guide took over. Our headsets would sometimes go out because of the distance between us and guide.

My good experience in Capitol Hill - Our tour guide, Rochelle, was good and friendly. She said she was a native in DC from the neighborhood of Georgetown.
She provided good information about the architecture of both the U.S. Capitol and Library of Congress.
I would recommend it to friends and family.

Capitol tour with Dwayne - This is an amazing tour and Dwayne is an amazing tour guide. He is very passionate about history and it shows. He provided an in depth description of the history of the Capitol and added some extra tidbits. Our tour was only a couple
Of hours and I wished we had had the opportunity of having a longer tour with Dwayne.

This is a rip off for... - This is a rip off for senior citizens, and anyone really! the tour at the US Capital is free. When you search, this site comes up and makes you think it is official. I booked the tour and my friend made the same booking thru the government for the free tour. Within minutes of booking i called and emailed to request a refund from the vendor, Viator. They said they would get back to me, not very timely i might add. I did not take the tour and will never use this site again. Buyer beware of the scams on the web and companies posing as the official site, charging for a free service offered by the US Government. I can not express how disgusted I am by this company trying to rip people off maybe senior citizen more than others, they should be ashamed of the business practice and how they conduct them selves. I requested a refund with in minutes of making the reservation because i thought this was a government site and the tour is provided by the government for free. The company was not responsive, they don't care about the customer, just want to make money ripping people off.
