Jamestown, Williamsburg, and Yorktown, VA each serve as vibrant representations of Colonial America. These towns collectively form the Historic Triangle, beautifully linked by the 23-mile Colonial Parkway.

The journey begins with a picturesque drive from DC to Jamestown, known as England’s first permanent settlement in America and the original capital of Virginia.

A tour guide will lead visitors through Historic Jamestown to explore the remains of Fort James, the site of the first enduring English settlement in North America. The tour includes a visit to the reconstructed Glasshouse of 1608 and a walk in the footsteps of Captain John Smith and Pocahontas.

Following this, visitors will explore Colonial Williamsburg, enjoying a guided tour through the world’s largest living history museum.

Before returning to DC, the tour will stop at Yorktown to view the battlefield where General George Washington led the Continental Army to victory over British General Cornwallis and his forces during the Revolutionary War.
