DC political scandal tour is a must! - The information given during the tour was interesting and covered both DC government officials and local DC officials which was fun. Derrick was so fun and personable. Lenny is the best driver, kept it fun and light too.

The Scandalous DC tour was informative and fun! - We thought the “Scandalous Tour of DC” sounded like fun and it was! Our guide was Evan, who was full of facts and stories, so personable, and engaging everyone in the group. Also Leonard our bus driver was excellent - navigating the bus through holiday traffic safely. Of course DC has scandals - some political, some not. Sex, drugs, spies, plots, and more, we heard stories from throughout DC’s history. We saw The Willard Hotel, Ford’s Theater, The Watergate condominium, and got up close and personal with the White House, The Kennedy Center, Navy Plaza, and the WWl memorial. The tour was 3 hours, we had time for water breaks in the heat, and bathroom breaks. We learned fun facts you don’t read in history books, and saw the beauty of DC at night, all lit up. We’d definitely recommend this tour, and thanks so much to Evan for your knowledgable and fun presentation.

Highly Recommend - There is some moderate walking but even in rainy weather it was a phenomenal tour. Evan was a great source of knowledge and shared so much information. Leonard was a fantastic driver. Overall the tour was exceptional and one of the best ones I’ve taken.

Super fun way to see a lot of stuff and learn some interesting “off the beaten path” history - This was a really fun tour. Derek our tour guide did a great job. He was very funny and knew all kinds of interesting things and kept us laughing. It was cool to see Ford’s theater, the Watergate, the White Houseand the Kennedy center and the FBI and the Supreme Court and the capitol all in one evening. Learned a lot of some of the more scandalous history and some true crime. It would have taken us ages to go to all these places on our own and without the interesting commentary and facts. A fun way to do this- we enjoyed it. Also really really appreciated the free bottled water!

A great tour, but a few things you should know first. - This is a great evening tour where you still see the main DC sights, but also learn some juicy stories from history. Two caveats - the tour requires lots of walking, even though it is a bus tour. I enjoyed the walking, but it could prove difficult for those with mobility concerns. Also, the seats on the bus were very tight. Again, you will not spend much time on the actual bus, but it could be difficult for super tall people. Getting in and out of the bus was tricky because of the tightness, so best not to bring large bags or purses on this tour.
