The Ride of Our Lives - The Ride of Our Lives September 2025 My husband, myself and our dog Bonnie recently completed the Great Allegheny Passage and C&O Canal Towpath with our guide, Jeff Miller of DC Cycling Concierge. The trip was an unforgettable adventure. Jeff was outstanding providing excellent insights into the history and landmarks along the way. Jeff was patient with us and traveling 350 miles by bicycle with our dog. The trip was well organized, meals well planned and the itinerary struck a nice balance between riding time, rest, and exploration.

Great experience - My husband and I did the DC Wilderness Tour with Jeff and it was an amazing experience. We've lived in Dc for over 20 years but had never been to Anacostia Park. We saw so much wildlife - the ride was a nice combination of nature and city sights. Dc is such a green, bike friendly city and it was so nice having Jeff navigate the way. Besides being an incredibly kind and likable guy, Jeff has an encyclopedic knowledge of DC history and its many historical sights. Highly recommend their bike tours as a unique way to see the city while getting a nice dose of cardio!

A Must Do! - Did this ride with my family which included 50 years old to 12 years old. It was a great cross between education, sightseeing, and exercise. Jeff was an amazing guide. He rode at our pace and customized the route to suite our interests and to spend time where we had not previously in our trip to DC. I highly recommend this activity!

A fresh look at DC for a long-time local - I've lived in DC a long time and rather than just showing my family around myself, I enlisted Jeff for a special tour. He is so knowledgable! We were filled with history detials - like did you know how S, M, L sizing came to be the norm? Uniforms in the civil war! Jeff provided nice bikes, met us downtown, had ample snacks and joined us for lunch, too! A delightful day.

An experience beyond our expectations - It is hard to come up with a new or different way to describe what an amazing Tour we had with Jeff. All the reviews are accurate but they can never describe just how great the experience is. We have done a number of bike tours in cities when we travel but nothing has come close to our Tour of Washington with Jeff. It wasn't just his in depth knowledge of Washington and safe cycling practices, but the fact that Jeff has biked around the world made for such fascinating conversation. He was fun and interesting. We never felt hurried and were amazed by the generosity of his time.

So good, we ended up extending our tour to experience more of DC on bike - This is the tour you want if you are visiting DC! Jeff and DC Cycling Concierge completely customized our ride and gave my husband and I everything we could have imagined for the experience. We really wanted to explore DC and get the layout of the city so we could learn about cool areas and hear interesting facts about the town's development and secret spots. Jeff met us at our hotel with bikes, we rode to Georgetown, saw the University, past really cute neighborhoods, stopped by Julia Child's and Jackie Kennedy's former house, and took a little break at a cute coffee shop. We went along the water front of the Potomac River, to the Wharf, past the Nationals stadium, and to Navy Yard. Plus stops at the Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, WWII Memorial, Washington Monument, and the Capital. We had originally booked a 3 hr tour but were having such a good time we ended up extending our tour so we could see more and experience the monuments at night, they truly are so beautiful all lit up! Jeff was incredibly knowledgeable about the city, full of interesting, fun, and cool facts. I couldn't imagine seeing the city via any other method, than by bike. Jeff prioritizes safety and ensures you are comfortable and confident during the ride. He knows all the protected bike routes and lanes, so we could breeze past traffic and get up close to the best sites. He guided us so well, we felt confident renting bikes the next couple of days to revisit some of the sites he has shown us during the tour. (Highly recommend trying to catch the sunset from the rooftop bar at the Pendry on the wharf!) Thanks, Jeff and DC Cycling Concierge. You gave us an experience to remember and I shall continue to recommend your tours to everyone visiting DC.

Great tour of DC sites - Jeff was amazing. He took our family of 9 on DC biking tour of the mall. He is extremely knowledgable, super interesting and tells funny stories. He did an amazing job of keeping our children engaged. This was a great way to see all the sites and be moving at the same time. We highly recommend booking!

Our best outing over 4 days. - Outstanding tour. Jeff is a very knowledgeable and thoughful guide to take you around Washington DC and it many monuments and museums. Lots of off the grid knowledge about any of your interests or needs. On time, polite and very safety conscious. A real pro. Highly recommended.

Best way to see DC - We were in town for business and wanted to end the week with a fun activity. Jeff came highly recommended. I’ve visited the DC sites before, but never with a tour guide. Jeff absolutely crushed it. He took 7 of us on a bike tour which is the best way to see the city. He’s an amazing storyteller and historian. He’s animated and engaging. I can’t recommend this experience enough. If you are coming to DC, book this tour!
