Enter one of the country’s most iconic buildings and experience the history of American democracy firsthand. After a brief orientation and film, join an official guided tour. Explore highlights such as the Crypt, the grand Rotunda, and National Statuary Hall, with occasional access to the historic Old Supreme Court or Old Senate Chamber. Look up to admire “The Apotheosis of Washington,” a stunning fresco soaring 180 feet above, and stand in the Crypt, originally intended as George Washington’s final resting place. This immersive visit offers a powerful glimpse into the stories, architecture, and legacy at the heart of the United States.

Begin your adventure with a 2-hour Guided Walking Tour around Capitol Hill, where you’ll pass by landmarks such as the Supreme Court, Library of Congress, and Senate Office buildings. Participants will gain entry into the US Capitol to explore at least three rooms, which may include the Crypt, Rotunda, National Statuary Hall, Old Supreme Court Chamber, or Old Senate Chamber.
After exploring Capitol Hill, embark on a guided Bus Tour with stops at over 10 iconic monuments, including the White House, Lincoln Memorial, Martin Luther King Jr Memorial, and Vietnam Veterans Memorial. The tour also passes by notable sites like the Washington Monument and Tidal Basin.
A lunch break is scheduled approximately halfway through the day (at your own expense).
The tour also includes a picturesque seasonal boat cruise along the Potomac River (typically from mid-March to mid-October). When the boat is not in operation, additional stops will be made at the Jefferson Memorial, Air Force Memorial, and Pentagon Mall.
