I was very impressed with our tour guide Leigh's breadth and scope of knowledge about history which made our experience fun, educational and memorable. Leigh had amazing energy and kept the group engaged with fun and insightful stories throughout the tour while keeping us on schedule. I highly recommend this tour.

*We* got a "Rock star" Tour Guide today (may you and *your* friends or family be so lucky!) - Where shall I begin? Our guide, Leigh, is a "rockstar" among tour guides: Not only is Leigh well-prepared for her job by being knowledgeable (yes, down to specific dates and details, dropping historical tidbits like tasty morsels literally all along our paths as we walked from building to building, and even while we had to sometimes wait in lines), but she was a patient soul, taking time when appropriate to answer specific questions from individual members of our group. As a recently retired educator I instantly picked up on Leigh's wide command of US history, as well as in her kindness toward individual tour members: * In listening well, * In showing gentleness toward those in our group for whom English is not his/her first language, and * In showing discernment by not speaking in a partisan fashion when referring to various historical events, nor to specific Supreme Court justices, past or present. (Leigh easily could have used inflammatory language, yet instead chose to simply give us historical facts.) What a pleasure -- yes, even a real delight! -- to soak up the information that she has accumulated over *years* (20 something, if I'm recalling correctly) of leading these tours. How I wish there were a way to sign up for one of these tours by specifically *requesting* Leigh! (If there were such a way, it is not readily apparent on the tour website, nor on the link that we used via Tripadvisor.com; perhaps there will be a way in the future to at least make a *request* for a specific tour guide...hint, hint! 😉) Although my friend and I both have advanced degrees and absolutely *love* books, we also *loved* how Leigh was 100% comfortable and skillful in explaining things to the elementary students who graced our group, too. For anyone reading this review wondering if this tour is for you, I'd say, "Go for it!" (And I have received zero compensation for simply sharing an amazing experience that we had today -- just to be perfectly clear!)

A great guided tour on Captiol Hill - I had a great experience with Babylon Tours. It was a manageable group size and a tour guide who knew a lot and so could bridge the time in the queue well. Thanks to their organization, we were able to see all the buildings in a row. She pointed out special features to us.

Fantastic Solo Trip! - This guided tour of Capitol Hill, the Supreme Court, and the Library of Congress was a highlight of my trip. Our guide, Tim, was exceptional – knowledgeable, genuinely funny, and incredibly accommodating. He went above and beyond, even texting us beforehand with helpful tips about expected lines and the chilly weather, allowing us to prepare. Be ready for some walking and potential waiting, but the experience is well worth it. The absolute best part was Tim himself; his many anecdotes and the rich history he shared truly brought these iconic landmarks to life and made the experience feel significant. I definitely recommend this tour and will absolutely request Tim as my guide again in the future!
