Washington DC Grand Tour / Saturday

Washington DC - 7:00 AM. Enjoy an American breakfast.
8:00 AM. On the first day, the Nation’s Capital will captivate you with its rich history and revered memorials. A history interpreter and city designer will present the city in a storytelling manner you never imagined.
Visit main attractions: Lafayette Square, White House, Arlington National Cemetery, Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Gravesite of President J.F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Korean War Veterans Memorial, US Capitol.
The tour concludes around 2:00 PM, and the rest of the day is yours to enjoy. The tour guide will suggest activities and dining options.
For those interested in visiting museums, the coach will make a drop-off stop at the Smithsonian Institution, then continue to the hotel, where the day’s visit ends. (During the summer season, at 6:30 PM, a contrasting city sunset sightseeing tour is available for those interested; the tour leader will explain the itinerary and cost).

Washington DC - Niagara Falls NY

Niagara Falls State Park - 6:30 AM. Enjoy an American breakfast.
7:00 AM. Departure for Niagara Falls. The journey is delightful! Your escorted tour leader will narrate the most important and relevant aspects of the area as you drive through the picturesque landscape of the state of MD and the scenic Allegheny Mountain Range in PA.
(3 restroom coffee breaks along the way, and a 1-hour lunch break at Hoss or a similar venue (Meal not included))
By 5:30 PM, we will arrive in Niagara, where you will be greeted by the thrilling roar of the Horseshoe and Bridal Veil thunder Falls.
From the deck of the Maid of the Mist boat, you will experience a majestic sunset afternoon, one that can only be described as a magical mist!
After the boat ride, the group will proceed to the hotel, and the rest of the evening is yours to enjoy at leisure.
(The tour leader will provide details on how to cross the Canadian border on foot or by taxi for those interested, and assist the group with reservations at the Canadian Revolving Skylon Tower dining room.)

Niagara Falls NY - Washington DC

Niagara Falls - 7:00 AM. The day begins with a visit to Niagara Parks.
Stopping at the natural whirlpool view site, a 4,200-year erosion, located at the upstream Niagara River Escarpment along the US-Canadian border. After taking pictures, we will begin our return to Washington, DC.
Estimated time of arrival (ETA 6:00 PM).
The excursion concludes at the meeting location, Hilton Washington DC National Mall the Wharf.
