Fantastic tour with NATE! - Me, my husband and twin 11 year old boys booked a monkey/sloth tour, zip lining, snorkeling and West Bay beach trip and had the BEST tour guide, Nate. We came in on a cruise and Nate was so knowledgeable, helpful, personable and professional. He was the highlight of our entire weeklong cruise with 4 different ports! Nate handled everything, he wanted to make sure that we relaxed and enjoyed the tours and made sure we were back to the ship in plenty of time. We would definitely recommend Tucan Adventure s with Nate as your guide! He's the BEST! We will be back!

Amazing experience - This was an excellent value for money trip. It was so well organised, we were met at the cruise port by Alfredo who was so friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating . The minibus was air conditioned, and he gave us information on all the scenery we were passing on our way to the first stop which was the sloth and monkey sanctuary. This was such a fun experience. We got to interact with Michael, a lovely monkey, and had a great personalised tour from Brandon around the parrots and Sloths 🦥 . We then headed over to West bay and had access to Henry Morgans hotel and beach club where we were shown to our sunbeds for the day directly on the beach. The waiter service to the beds with food and drink was great and the prices were very reasonable with a bucket of 5 beers between $30 and $33. Then it was time for the snorkel. Alfredo was in the background and around to assist throughout the day and came over to let us know when it was our time to snorkel! We boarded a boat with one other person so 7 in total and had a personal snorkel out on the reef for 45 minutes. The guide provided life jackets and there were snorkels although we used our own . He didn't really guide us just encouraged us to jump in and get swimming! But great time had by all with an abundance of colourful fish and we managed to see a mantaray. When we got back to the beach we had a swim and when we were ready after another hour or so we asked Alfredo to take us to a local bar somewhere he would recommend. This place did not dissapoint with the most amazing views high above Roatan. He sat and spoke with us while we sipped drinks never seeming intrusive just friendly and fun. We got back to the port with plenty of time to spare. I cannot recommend this company and experience enough.

Amazing ecursion! - We had an absolutely amazing time on our excursion! The beach was stunning—clean, peaceful, and the perfect place to relax. Snorkeling was definitely a highlight; we saw so many colorful fish, it felt like swimming in an aquarium! Our private driver, Kendrick, was fantastic. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and so knowledgeable about the area. He made the experience even better with his insights and helpful recommendations along the way. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. We would definitely book again—highly recommended!

David is fantastic! We loved him. - His English was wonderful and he was very knowledgeable and talked a lot. He knew exactly what to do and answered all our questions. We loved the snorkeling and beach time. The monkeys and birds and sleuths were fun

5 stars for Roatan Tucan Adventures! - Truly one of the best excursions we have taken.
Arriving on a Carnival cruise, the instructions on where to meet our guide were easy to follow, which meant we were able to start our adventure very shortly after disembarking. Our family of six was guided around the island by Tyler.
First stop being the ecological park – where the tour guide there gave us a great tour of the animal sanctuary where we got up close to engage with monkeys, macaws and sloths. This animal sanctuary exceeded any expectations we could have – a truly memorable experience with a very knowledgeable guide and well cared for animals.
From there Tyler took us to West Bay Beach and the Henry Morgan Beach Resort. We had questionable weather that day and Tyler was able to arrange our snorkel excursion for shortly after we arrived at the beach. We left our belongings on shaded lounge chairs at Henry Morgan where Tyler stayed behind to keep an eye on our stuff. The guided snorkeling adventure was top notch – such an incredible reef and so many beautiful fish. It rivaled or bested any reefs we’ve seen on other snorkeling or scuba trips. The water at West Bay Beach was warm, clear and absolutely none of the sargassum seagrass you get elsewhere through Mexico and the Caribbean. After our incredible snorkel tour, we decided to spend some time in the pool and lounging pool side at Henry Morgan. Tyler gave us a great recommendation for lunch at Bananarama Resort just a two-minute walk down the beach – and the lunch did not disappoint.
After lunch we packed up our things and Tyler got us back to port with plenty of time before we had to be onboard. All in all an excellent day – we highly recommend this tour and Tyler as a guide!

Fabulous Day in Beautiful Roatan - All of the previous reviews for this private tour say it so beautifully; this is Absolutely the tour to book in Roatan! My husband and I got back from a Wonderful cruise with Royal Caribbean last weekend with great shore excursions in each port, but our Favorite was the Fabulous day spent in Roatan with David! He was waiting for us right outside the cruise terminal when we arrived, told us all about his Lovely island, and took us first to the eco park. Our tour guide there, Kennedy, gave us a great tour of the animal sanctuary and we loved meeting the macaws, monkeys, and of course the sloth family (who really do “move” like that!). From there, we went to the Henry Morgan Beach Resort where we found perfect lounges in the shade in a private area on the Most Beautiful beach ever! The water was clear, Gorgeous, and the Perfect temperature, and I didn’t want to ever leave. I told David I didn’t think we needed to snorkel because we were So Happy just being on that beach, but he encouraged us to go. I am so Grateful because the snorkeling just minutes away from the easy-to-walk-into ocean sported a deep reef that was just Spectacular! The boat was run by a married couple with the husband driving the boat and the wife giving us an Amazing guided tour underwater – really a highlight! The beach club does have food and drinks for purchase, but we loved that David gave us the option to have lunch in a local place. He took us to the Mutton Pepper Caribbean Grill restaurant at the top of a mountain with a Stunning view and Delicious food (don’t miss the garlic lobster tails!). Full and Happy, David got us back to the port long before all aboard time. All in all, we Loved every second of our day in Roatan!

Private First Class Experience - This private excursion was the absolute best we could’ve hoped for. Our driver & guide Kendrick Woods was fantastic. The directions to meet Kendrick were clear & precise. We started off at the animal park where we had up close encounters with sloths, monkeys, & macaws. It was fun to take pictures with & pet the animals. We then went to a private beach where we relaxed for a half an hour before boarding a boat for snorkeling. The boat ride to the reef was really quick. We donned our masks & snorkels & were on our way with a reef guide. The guide showed us the most beautiful parts of the reef. We saw amazing reef formations & such beautiful fish! We took the boat back to shore & relaxed a bit. It was a rainy day on & off so when it started pouring again, we changed into dry clothes & told Kendrick we were ready to go back to the ship. It was a fantastic time & we would definitely do it again! You won’t regret booking this private excursion!

Day in Roatan with Monekys, Beach and Snorkeling. - What a great day in Roatan, and it was made special by Samantha. Request her if you get a chance! She was waiting with my name so no confusion of where to go. She was upbeat, loved to talk and told us everything we wanted to know about the local area, culture, and housing. She even made an unplanned stop at the chocolate store. Now about the day. Great sloth and monkey stop. Then to the private beach, what great service and the snorkeling was great. The guide even got in the water and toured me around the reef. After we were done at the beach resort, Samantha toured us around the south of the island and back to the ship. Overall, this is a must tour!!
