This site was accidentally created in the mid-80s when fishermen returning to port anchored in the tranquil waters of the Sound to clean their catch and discard bait overboard. The stingrays, attracted by the scent of fish, quickly became accustomed to the “free meal” and remained. Today, the rays are regularly fed squid by divers and snorkelers. Native Way instructors will guide you on how to interact with these remarkable animals in the only place in the world where you can do so in their natural habitat.
