A New Adventure Awaits

As a former professional surfer, I’ve spent countless hours riding the waves and feeling the ocean’s embrace. But when I heard about VI Foils in the West End, I knew I had to experience this unique eFoil adventure for myself. The idea of gliding above the water on an electric foil board was too intriguing to pass up.

Upon arriving at Brewers Bay Road, I was greeted by the warm smiles of Jeff and Jane, the dynamic duo behind this thrilling experience. Their passion for the ocean and teaching was evident from the start. After a brief safety discussion, we moved on to the “ground school,” where we learned the basics of eFoiling. Even with my surfing background, I found the concept of flying above the water both exhilarating and challenging.

Taking Flight

With the basics under my belt, it was time to hit the water. The sensation of rising above the waves on an eFoil is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. It’s a dance with the ocean, a blend of balance and grace that requires focus and finesse. Jeff’s guidance was invaluable, and his patience made the learning process enjoyable.
