• Mt. Boucherie Estate Winery - The Okanagan/Similkameen region is a place where winemakers endeavor to highlight the unique characteristics of their area, producing wines that are distinctly British Columbian. Our appellations are at the northernmost edge of wine growing, claiming the territory of the last frontier. Here, the quality of grapes is enhanced by the vines’ struggle to produce ripe fruit within a shorter growing season. It may seem miraculous that grapes can flourish here, but thanks to the remarkable lakes, hills, and soils, they do, and they achieve extraordinary results.
• Quails’ Gate Winery - Our 160 acres of exceptional soil are nestled beneath the extinct volcano of Mount Boucherie. Its deposits act like a time-release capsule. Coupled with warm summers and mild winters, our volcanic rocks have decomposed and recombined into soluble molecules that are easily separated into their elements and accessible to plants, including vineyards. This results in some of the most fertile agricultural land on the planet.
• Black Swift Vineyards - Black Swift Vineyards and Screaming Frenzy were conceived during a brainstorming session at our production facility in Peachland in 2014. We wanted to celebrate our vineyards and incredible growers, while also creating something that, in an industry often filled with pretension, didn’t take itself too seriously.

We playfully considered bird names, as the hatch is located right next to Quails Gate, and we had a long list of Native Okanagan birds in front of us, searching for one that stood out. Black Swift made the shortlist, and after some research, it became clear this was the perfect name! Two aspects particularly appealed to us: the Black Swift lays only one egg at a time, which perfectly mirrors our single-vineyard focused releases, and a group of Black Swift birds is known as a “Screaming Frenzy”—what a fantastic name for anything!

• The Hatch - Welcome to the hatch, where we are open from 11 to 6 every delightful day. Come keep us company, and we’ll keep you company, if you catch our drift.
• Volcanic Hills Estate Winery - Exceptional wine begins in the vineyard. By prioritizing care for the land and making thoughtful varietal selections, we can sustainably cultivate our grapes to produce wines that require minimal intervention in the winery. The outcome is that each unique vintage showcases the land of opportunity and the true terroir of the Okanagan Valley.
