Wonderful time with Alba Cruise crew - I have absolutely wonderful time with Alba tour guides. I boarded authentic wooden boat. It was so unusual but wonderful experience in terms of climbing in/out and going through pier with a lot of missing parts. If you are Western abd with some mobility difficulties, this tour is not for you. But you want some adventure in your life, go ahead!!! My incredible driver Ansel took me from hotel, show some sights, and safely bring to this small village, where tour started. The road has non-stop turns, and ups and downs. If you are prompt to motion sickness, please think ahead. Snorkeling was fantastic in pristine clear water. Coral reef is alive and beautiful. When we left our second stop, cave, monkey was there.

Wonderful half day tour with amazing sunset point - Altogether we stayed three nights on Labuan Bajo and felt it was a good balanced stay. For first full day we chose a full day trip to surrounding islands. But for second day we searched for exactly this relaxed and beautiful tour! It was perfectly organized. We wanted to sleep long, and enjoy the sunset, so we booked the 13:30 o clock tour. We were picked up at the hotel, and then enjoyed amazing snorkeling on a traditional wooden boat with cool guides. We saw many colourful fishes, chorals so close and sharp. Also we saw blue star. We enjoyed it a lot. And it was beautiful surrounding scenery. The cave was ok, also to swim inside, i enjoyed the short walk to the cave a lot. Along nice nature. It is a perfect match if you search for half day tour. Do not touch chorals and try not to use sunscreen to not harm marine life. The sunset was an unforgettable highlight and a must see for you!! Really amazing! And outstanding!!!! For the sunset you can bring by yourself some bananas or chips… we had also some water, but water (small bottle) is provided by tour guide. The tour operator is also very kind. We enjoyed it a lot.

Amazing sunset, cute wooden boat and pretty snorkeling! - Super snorkeling! You have a super relaxed and cozy experience. We did an early bird full day trip on one day, and on the second day, we did this tour to the cave with previous snorkeling and sunset tour. Basically, we felt that three nights, two days are a relaxed choice on labuan bajo. With a full day trip and here this tour as relaxed part on second day. The sunset point is really really worth it!! Wait for the full sunset! Also the snorkeling was nice with blue star, many colourful fishes, and traditional boat and kind tour guides…. Also the nature and surroundings was very nice to see. Honestly, the cave i would not need. But the snorkeling, traditional wooden boat and sunset would let me book it again and recommend it to anybody, as additional relaxed day on top of previous full day tour offered on this platform also.. so this tour makes your experience round. We booked the 13:30 o clock tour that we enjoyed the sunset fully and could sleep long.

Worth it - Great adventure made so by the guide who took us to the cave & snorkelling. Cave a fun experience. Despite the rain the snorkelling was super(the water was really warm). Finished with a short climb to see a wonderful sunset.

Punctuality and professionalism - Precise agency and young and serious guides. Advice. Punctuality and professionalism. In a few hours you go with the driver to a panoramic point, then snorkel and then cave.

Loved the cave and snorkeling - In the order that we did activities (we started at 8am) 1. Amelia Hill Sea View: nothing that special, could have skipped. It’s supposed to be a good place to watch the sunrise and sunset, but we weren’t there during that time. We drove to this. The other two places were by a motorized wooden boat that is very loud (so maybe bring earplugs if you’re sensitive to noise). I am more prone to motion sickness that others, but this boat was ok for me). 2. Boleng for snorkeling: awesome! I saw weird starfish and fish that I’ve never seen before, not even during the long Komodo Island day tour. However, I wasn’t sure where I was supposed to go because there’s no guide in the water with us. No flippers provided, but easy to float (I normally cannot float well). The coral didn’t seem very dead like I read in other reviews. Plenty of fish to see. 3. Rangko Cave: WOW. We arrived around 11am and the cave was so dark, but as the hour passed, the lighting hit the inside the cave so that you could see it. The water is incredibly clear, warm, and easy to float in. Also, be aware that there are bats in the cave, but they aren’t dangerous and they don’t fly too close to you. Improvements: Could be nice to be more structured. For example, tell us the order of activities at the start of the tour because it seems like the order changes based on the time of day that we sign up for. Also, tell us how long we have at each place / what time we should try to be done with each activity. Other notes: there were only 5 of us on the tour. I saw in other reviews that the driver didn’t speak much. My driver didn’t speak much but I didn’t care and I didn’t ask questions. His English was great though. Also, there is a restroom before we leave for snorkeling, as well as at the cave.

Could be better - We went as a family with young kids. The cave is wonderful but can get crowded. Recommend to wear water shoes as the rocks can be uncomfortable to walk on. The snorkeling point was also beautiful but very shallow. There were no warnings or precautions given to the visitors about stepping on the beautiful corals. The corals will definitely not keep its natural beauty after a few years from the constant visits by tourists and accidental breaking of the corals by stepping on them. The locals need to warn the tourists or choose a different deeper location. Finally, at the sunset point you have to hike up the last bit of the mountain. It’s a breathtaking view. Please wear proper shoes as the rocks can be very slippery. Note that the locals are handling the boat rides and there was an unnecessary mix up at the beginning were visitors were told to get on the boat, then off the boat, then back on the same boat. Some management is needed to manage the guests especially ones with kids. Also, the wooden boats are in rough condition and their manually primed inboard motor is very loud and relatively slow. Recommended to get your own snorkeling gear as their snorkeling sets are not the best - fins are not provided either.
