White Water Rafting with Cantrell Rafting & camping - We had a great time camping & rafting with Cantrell. Cantrell is family owned & run for 30+ years. We hiked to see the New River Gorge & bridge on Friday & rafted the Lower Gauley on Saturday. We had great weather & a fine picnic about halfway down the river. Cantrell has an indoor restaurant & bar. Saturday night a fabulous band played on their outdoor stage. Great Trip!!!!

Nobody Does It Better! - So glad we found this outfitter to take us whitewater rafting! Rob, Tristan, Kirby and the rest of Rob's guides are the best at what they do. They go above and beyond to ensure that you have a safe and positive experience on the water. So friendly and they take such good care of you. We continue to come back year after year with West Virginia Adventures because we know we're in good hands. And SO MUCH FUN!!!

a WV must-do - Chilly but amazing. Gorgeous scenery and great navigation by the guide. The best way to take in the landscape and New River Gorge bridge.

Wow! - Absolutely amazing experience. Every employee was great, including our guide, Tristan. Gave us an amazing ride while keeping us safe and in the boat! If you're prepared for intense whitewater, this is the trip to book. I plan on doing it again next year!

Best WV rafting company - Best rafting company in WV. Rob and his team provide the best experiences on the rivers! They ensure they understand your level/skill and then maximize your experience with them. After 30 years, they are the only group I raft with in WV.

GO WITH THIS COMPANY! - HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! One of the best rafting companies that I have ever dealt with. Can't say enough. Had an awesome time. I am so glad that we went with West Virginia Adventures. Felt much more personalized than with a bigger company. Nathan was one of the best guides that we've ever dealt with (we've done extreme WW rafting a few times). We will come here again next year and use this company again. Wish I had time to do it again this year. Oh yeah, Gauley is awesome, not for the faint of heart, but worth the 6 hour driving trip.

Rafting upper and lower New along with Upper and lower Gauley. - Amazing adventure! Rafted for 3 days with girlfriends. Guides we’re professional, knowledgeable and friendly with safety always emphasized first. Kirby and Tristan quickly put me at ease with their expertise on the Upper Gauley. I loved that it’s a smaller company so we only had one other raft in our group. Top notch organization! Hope to return again one day.
