Delicious food on tour - Fabulous afternoon of eating across the venues chosen for us. My personal favourite was the taco in neon cactus but it was very close. We also visited the Underground Bakery to sample their goods and buy some bread after tasting! Into the fantastic Kirkgate market to try some delicious gyozas from Amazing Gyoza, then a walk to one of our favourite restaurants in Leeds, Stuzzi for an oozing arancini. Up to the Chilli shop for a lock in of trying chilli sauces which were all very different and the entertaining Frank leading us through the chilli heat. Back down to the outskirts of the station for some Indian street food from Delhi Wala - lots of different dishes were sampled. Lastly a walk to the iconic Corn exchange for ice cream from The Melting Pot. You definitely need your walking shoes on and preferably a fine day. Thanks to Lynda for her knowledge of Leeds

Fabulous food in Leeds. - This was a walking tour around Leeds City Centre, the Tour Guide (Lynda) was very pleasant and knowledgeable, she soon got to know everyone and made us all very welcome. We had Mexican/Japanese/Italian/Indian/ and finished off with a fabulous Ice-Cream. In amongst this we went to a superb Bakery and a Chilli shop, both of which were excellent. We managed to have good weather for February. When we had finished we could tell we had been fed, even though the tour lasted for 4 hours. Thoroughly recommend it, and we come to Leeds quite a lot.

Ellen is worth her weight in gold as a host, watch out for service charges on your drinks bills! - Ellen was so warm and welcoming and had really good working knowledge of the area and the cuisine that is available in Leeds. She was a pleasure to chat with and we all really enjoyed her company. 🥟 Taste of Xiangchi Asian street food. We had a braised beef and rice dish that wash really tasty. 🌮 Neon Cactus It took a while to get served with our tacos, but it was totally worth the wait. 🇮🇹 Stuzzi We were served a huge Arancini each, the service and food were great. 🌶️ The Chilli Shop This was a really fun stop to try out some chilli sauces and have a quick lesson about the Scoville scale. 🍛 Delhi Wala Food: The food was lovely, but as soon as Ellen left us to finish off our meal at the end of her time with us the restaurant started pressuring us to clear our table and go. The meal was paid for in advance, but a really high service charge was applied to the drinks total- please watch out for this when you check your bill before deciding whether or not you wish to pay for the service charge. Given that we were hustled out of the restaurant, I was conflicted about paying the charge.

A great way to spend the day - We did the self guided taste of leeds food tour and it was such a brilliant way to spend the day in leeds. The app functionality was seamless, and also informative about both Leeds and the vendors visited. The vendors were also really well selected, enjoying some great food, even down to the order in which you visit. Without the app I don't think I knew the places existed, never mind willing to try them out. Making it mutually beneficial for both the independents and ourselves. The food we had was beautiful and the qr code scanning made the whole experience hassle free.

Highly recommend - diverse and high quality food tours - I have previously done the Hidden Gems tour and the Harrogate tour - both exceptional with some really high quality and diverse food stops. They were so good that I must have raved about it a lot and subsequently I was gifted the Parent & Baby tour. This was as good as the others - and very well curated to cater for parents with tiny babies. Thoughtfully spaced stops with baby-friendly facilities and again top-notch food. I live in Leeds and come here frequently and there were still new food stops for me - can't argue with that! Highly recommend any of the Leeds Food Tour options, you won't be disappointed.

Great alternative to a birthday dinner - Had a great time celebrating my 50th birthday with 14 friends. Having Linda as our guide took all the stress and responsibility out of deciding where to go, and when. Moving locations regularly meant that the group constantly mixed up and so you managed to speak to everyone over the course of the evening. We all loved discovering new places in a city we all thought we knew well, and the food was great, and plenty of it!

A wonderful afternoon with delicious food. - What a wonderful way to spend a wet afternoon in Leeds. Linda, our tour guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable, pointing out interesting buildings and facts as we walked around. Our group was 9 people so it was easy to stay together. We visited 7 very different foodie places in our 4 hours, including the oldest pub, a bakery, a Mexican, an Indian and a chilli shop lock in. The food in every stop was absolutely delicious and there was so much of it we didn't need to eat again. It said the walk was a mile but my fitbit said 3 miles altogether. I would recommend this and hope to try their York or Harrogate walks at some point.

Fabulous food tour - I booked this food tour as part of my sons birthday celebrations and we enjoyed every minute. Our guide Lynda was great and arranged a special surprise for my son on the tour. The 7 stops were all different but equally delicious. The food was plentiful so go hungry. Lynda was such fun and knowledgeable and the group quickly gelled. It was a miserable day weather wise but none of us noticed as we were enjoying ourselves so much. Thank you!
