Gorilla Tracking - Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Encounter the majestic Mountain Gorillas. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is home to both mountain gorillas and chimpanzees, making it one of the few forests in Africa with these species. It also hosts five other primate species, 100 mammals, approximately 78 butterflies, and 360 bird species.

After an early breakfast, your driver will take you to the starting point of your tracking group or the UWA headquarters for a briefing at 7:45 am or 8:30 am. The gorillas you track are generally friendly, although some groups may be shy or stubborn. Your experienced ranger will assist in locating them. You’ll navigate through the bush, parting thick creepers, to find the gorillas. Once located, you can spend up to one hour with them.

Note: (The trek can last from half an hour to 5 hours, depending on the location and group. A reasonable level of fitness and sturdy walking shoes are recommended).

Return Journey to Kampala or Entebbe

Uganda Equator - After breakfast, drive back to Kampala or Entebbe, stopping at the Equator for a memorable experience, photo opportunities, and souvenir shopping. You will then be taken to your chosen guesthouse, lodge, or hotel in Kampala, or dropped off at the airport for your flight home.
